They say repeated lying gets easier with time, like killing.

Bernanke must have had more than a few conversations with Madoff over the ten years he headed NASDAQ. Greenspan must have also.

Who taught these people how to lie?
Probably the Master of All Lies, the Devil himself.

All is transparent, except what you want to know.

It is amazing to me how easily . . .

that man (Bernanke) lies--

so slick, so smooth. He's obviously had a lot of practice. He also shows a tremendous amount of arrogance--

I would say that he believes the American people and all the congress are idiots, and that he has succeeded in deceiving 'them'--

I almost feel sorry for him; how can he live with himself?

How must his children (if he has any) or his wife (if he has one) feel about him? Is this all in a day's work for the criminals--

?

the banking criminals--

sad--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Uuuuh, have You seen his eyes

Uuuuh, have You seen his eyes when he spitted out his last lie?

You go Ron

Response to current slurs that Ron's questions were 'bizarre'.

Look at the links to this article, the facts and sources are all there to show why Ron's questions were absolutely appropriate, and Bernanke overplayed his hand.

(I posted one myself under a different username.)

The progressives who know about these issues are backing RP up on blogs as well, which I find cheering.

Integrity means having to say things that people don't want to hear & especially to say things that the regime doesnt want to hear -RonPaul

Truth Has Longer Legs Than a Lie...

Truth will out, and Dr. Ron Paul is as straight as an arrow from William Tell's bow. The Federal Reserve Charter will run out on December 21,2012, and the International Trade Cartel has been reported to have no desire to renew the Charter at that time and event. So why don't we find out what is in store for the chattel of the bankrupted land from March 9,1933 under the F.D. Roosevelt administration is about to be transposed into after the above date???!!!...-whzh-

He who sells what isn't his'n, buys it back, or goes to prison!!!...-whzh-

The Charter runs out Dec. 21, 2012?!?

That is too uncanny for words.

Strategic Points

wealth management which does a radio show really tried to make Ron out to be a kook tonight in their nightly program about Dr Paul speaking of the possibility of the Fed financing Saddam's regime or the possibility of funds used in Watergate. Frankly its the first I heard of this, and seems slightly exaggerated (at least the Watergate part) but I let them know what I thought about it. Maybe some of you would like to as well.... :)

"Qui audet adipiscitur"

Independent Audit vs. 'Trust Me'

Ron Paul: “But can we get the results of every agreement, of every loan made, every single thing to foreign governments?”
Bernenke: “Yes.”

Therefore, Mr. Bernanke, if that is true, you should not object to an independent audit which will corroborate your own answer. Congress must rely on open facts, not blind trust.

viz. Either Bernanke is truthful and an audit will exonerate, or Bernanke is lying. Congress cannot be limited to blind trust. An audit is the only answer.

Dr. Paul

cornered Bernanke in video 2 at about 4:25. At 4:40 he asks Bernanke whether the Fed can buy the debt of other nations under the Monetary Control Act of 1980. Bernanke admits that they can. Startling admission. See you on youtube Ben...

Ron's a truth patriot

I'd like to learn more about Saddam & the FED.

bump. Gotta love the guy

he HAS balls! I mean that in the least offensive way, but seriously. THIS IS WHY WE LOVE HIM. He knows when to get the truth out in the best way and at the right time. He has some leeway here, finally, due to recent wins and popularity growing in this favor.

While the Saddam deal may be a bit unfair since it was an oversight issue...I am glad we have the facts on our side.

Thanks, it was good to read Jansen's

supportive views.

Thanks

I shouldn't have doubted him. That's great. Also see the new Huffington Post article titled "Bizarre Bernanke." It supports his position.

What is Dr. Paul referring to?

I haven't been able to find any reports of the Fed loaning Saddam $5.5 billion or being involved in Watergate. Anybody else heard of that? I'm hoping it's more than rumors because it makes him look bad to repeat such things. Where's a news story on this? Anyone?

tamtamfreedom's picture

Here's an article from 2004...someone posted this on HuffPost.

http://www.nytimes.com/2004/01/14/opinion/follow-the-money.h...

It has been exactly one month since President Bush announced the capture of Saddam Hussein. American officials interrogating Mr. Hussein are obviously interested in what he knows about illegal weapons programs in Iraq, human rights violations and other crimes. Whether he will cooperate remains to be seen.

But there is another line of questioning officials might pursue -- one that depends less on the cooperation of Mr. Hussein than on the assistance of the United States Federal Reserve Bank. Among Mr. Hussein's possessions when he was captured was three-quarters of a million dollars in United States currency in crisp new bills. Whence came the gentleman's stash?

I hope he will issue a report

following up on details behind his concerns.

I can't for the life of me

I can't for the life of me understand why Dr. Paul didn't call Bernanke's bluff. He asked BB if they could get all that info from ten years ago. BB said yes, twice. My next question would have been when will you have that on my desk?! It would have all been on record and a great jumping off point when they produce no results and try to cover their collective a$$.

Blessings )o(

I think it takes more than just Ron asking for it here.

Next step is to put together a formal subpoena for the documents in question. Then Bernake's bluff gets called.

I don't know what procedures Ron must go through to get that to happen. But I doubt he can do it by himself. If not, asking for it now without consulting the other congresscritters would tick 'em off.

(Then again maybe BB surprised Ron by saying such info was available to congress. B-) )

Regardless, I expect a move to get exactly what BB said could be gotten as soon as it can be arranged.

yes

Yes, this wasn't very good, especially for the Ron Paul skeptic.

Get him Ron

Nice to see the most powerful man in the world squirm.

I didnt really sense a

squirm on this expedition. I agree to the other poster. Paul should have said "ok, when will you have it on my desk?"....

"Qui audet adipiscitur"

The PTB can lie on every issue

because they have the money behind them. Evil lies without compunction.

Lets See If Mr. Barnanke Was Lying,,,

,,When he said he knew nothing about foreign loans to foreign banks.

Since the Fed and member banks have issued all U.S.federal reserve notes in existence, and since all foreign exchanges of currency going in and out of the USA are being tracked by the Fed, why would Mr. Bernanke not be aware of international central bank negotiations concerning international bailouts?
Especially, when Congressman Alan Grayson of Florida exposed that banks in New Zealand and elsewhere, had received 2008 TARP money, in U.S. dollars by questioning Mr. Bernanke several months ago in the Congress?

End The Fed, they have lost the trust of the American people, and that's what the "Tea Party's" I attended were all about !

beesting

Well, he is lying because Paulson already let the cat out of

the bag on that one when he was asked where did the money go? Paulson said, to several European banks. Who were these banks and who were the people in receipt of these loans? Paulson - "I don't know who they are, I couldn't tell you." You mean a half a billion dollars went to European banks and you don't know who they are? Paulson - "No" shaking his head while his face turns red.

Is the audio timing off for any of you guys?

This is the second video in the last few days of RP's recent speeches where the audio is off.

Anyone else having that issue?

reply

The Huffington Post is despicable, they are running this slimey hit peice because Dr. Paul is bearing down on the sleazy backdoor funding the FED is involved in. So all his highness Bernanke has to say is the assertion is bizarre and HP prints it as gospel ... what tabloid pukes!
