Defend Ron Paul against false accusations!

Unfortunatly there are still a lot of people out there, who think Ron Paul had written the newsletters by himself, or at least that those newsletters would actually represent his views.

A good way to disarm comments, which are based on newsletter quotes, is to post a reply which contains a link to the statement Ron Paul gave on CNN, regarding the racist newsletters:

I think it is crucial for Ron Paul to finally get rid of the image, being a racist or homophobic, before the next presidential campaign.
Some people still think Ron Paul was a monster, because they take the newsletters as his views!

So help to get the message out!

So if you happen to be registered somewhere, where people try to discredit RP, then use it!

On Neocon blogs, simply because Ron wishes to treat all nations by the same rules. I tried to write a reply to a comment on RedState.com but got the response that I wasn't authorized to post because I hadn't been a member long enough. Does anyone know how long you have to be a member to post?

Anyway, Ron Paul fans should google a guy named Hal Turner. We got blamed for the racism & 9/11BS our own taxes paid-for, and even though the "mainstream" news media does not find spending my tax money on Hal a scandal _I_ DO. They don't do my thinking for me.

Though they do not relate to RP directly, they do show that the tea party movement is a tent for quite everybody who believes in personal liberty, limited goverment, honesty and hopefully as well a humble foreign policy...rather than just for angry white guys, like the MSM tries to make their audience believe.

All I can say is thank God Paul did not attend a church where the Reverend spewed anti-government rhetoric, didn't publicly admit to cocaine use, didn't have a wife who published a college thesis that can be describe as derogatory in a general way towards whites, didn't have domestic terrorist friend who spent time in prison and belong to a organization that planted a bomb on U.S. soil that killed people, didn't have financial dealings with a person that had possible mafia connections and is now a convicted felon, and didn't have possibly legitimate questions concerning his eligibility to hold the top political office of the land. He might be in real trouble right now or he might have been elected to serve as president of the United States.

I generally also add that anyone who has heard Ron Paul speak more than, oh, ONCE, knows he doesn't use language the way it was used in those newsletters, in any event.

Good post. If he DOES run again (or even just as we push his issues) maybe we should have some sort of 'common urban myths about Ron Paul' page with easy to access links on these topics.
