Positive Thread: Ron Paul discussion on Hannity today 2/25/2010

I found this quite funny hearing this at my lunchtime in the car. Some caller was griping about Ron Paul winning CPAC. Sean Hannity actually had some fairly good things to say about Ron Paul on many issues; but the caller kept acting like being a libertarian was something to be afraid of. Quite funny.

Hannity did mention he still liked Ron Paul even after some of his supporters in New Hampshire threw snowballs at him during the primaries - LOL.

This CPAC thing is blowing Dr. Paul's exposure out of the water, even when he is being somewhat ridiculed, the hosts or speakers cannot ever question his dedication to limited government.

C4L storming CPAC was the greatest thing for the freedom movement they could have done. I'm so happy this has happened as other people I know are coming up to me saying - "Hey, you heard Ron Paul won CPAC right?".

Then I laugh and explain his foreign policy stance. Most people after having his foreign policy stance explained say that makes a lot more sense than what we are doing; especially since they acknowledge that we are broke.

These are good times my friends. We need to fully enjoy this and do our part to continue spreading the freedom message. We all need to do our parts even if it's not contributing financially; we can all make a difference daily. My 2012 sticker for RP on my truck gets my co-workers asking questions and even other people I meet when I have to do some off-site work.

Just remember, if you know your facts and history, you can out debate any neoconservative on any issue all the time.

It is so obvious it's amazing! Hannity knew this call was coming - Paid for by either Rick Perry or the Republican Party itself...and supported by the network...but she is a plant! Mark my words!

The caller was terrified of Ron Paul

She was absolutely terrified of Ron Paul and Debra Medina. She was from Texas and stated that all the Ron Paul and Tea Party people were backing Medina. You could hear the distress at the thought of Medina as governor or Paul as president.

Hannity did say he liked a lot of what Paul says, except foreign policy of course. The caller even agree to that.

Sooner or later these fools will have to realize our foreign policy is bankrupting us and we won't be able to afford it.

I seriously mean this though. Glad you liked the quote. I've found that most pro-war conservatives just simply accept the status quo on the perpetual war machine and always needing to support the state of Israel because that's what God would want us to do.

I simply remind them of our founders motto, "Commence with all nations, alliance with none". Your belief about warring for Israel on every occasion has no constitutional merit.

Certainly the honest enthusiasm and irrepressible passion for liberty and personal responsibility by C4l/YAL must have been a breath of fresh air to CPAC which has spent years patting themselves on the back for killing and oppressing peoples around the world while increasing our debt.
