Peter Schiff Republican Senate Debate Scheduled

"The Courant and FOX 61, in partnership with the University of Hartford, will host Senate debates on March 1 and 2 from 6:45 to 8 p.m. at the university's Lincoln Theater. Participating are Democrats Merrick Alpert and Richard Blumenthal on Monday, March 1; and Republicans Linda McMahon, Peter Schiff and Rob Simmons on Tuesday, March 2.

Please send your questions, address and daytime phone to oped@courant.com. We'll select the best for debate night."

This is televised across the state? Hope so. Debates seem to be the best opportunity for liberty candidates to push their campaigns to the next level.

Peter Schiff is a personal favorite of mine, and he has plenty of experience dealing with MSM talking heads. When the time comes for the PTB to sick the dogs after him, I expect he'll handle em better than most.

"Through easy credit and artificially low interest rates, the Federal Reserve was the source of the financial crises. Without any oversight from Congress or accountability to the American people, the Federal Reserve has spent trillions in taxpayer money secretively and devalued the dollar 97% since the creation of the Fed in 1913.

Do you support a full audit of the Federal Reserve and, as Senator, what will you do to bring transparency and accountability to this unConstitutional, private central bank?"

My guess is that this won't get asked.

Maybe without manipulation one job would pay 6 times as much and just one in each extended family would have to work or

Maybe with fewer people pushing random pieces of paper around expenses would be cut by 75%

... more people to tax ...
