On this day in 1836, the state of Texas declared independence from Mexico. As Texans celebrate this historic moment, they will also decide another historic battle - who will be the Republican nominee for governor. The hotly contested race between Kay Bailey Hutchinson, Rick Perry and Debra Medina has attracted commentary from Sarah Palin and Dick Cheney.

Great Job Alex

Well, I think that Alex Jones has learned a lesson.
I didn't like his "Medina will lose comment according to the polls".
But you can take that two ways.
1) He wants Medina to lose.
or
2) He is a realist, and understands that Medina winning is a long shot, because of biased public media, and because of his own over-reaction.
I pray that Medina wins, because if she does, it will shake the political establishment to its core!
Peace

It's all about Alex
Alex dissed all his supporters who put a great deal of time into the Medina campaign. I am long time listener and I now catch myself listening to his show much the way I would tune into Beck or Limbaug.
exactly
i think he seems too self-absorbed. maybe he does want medina to win, but saying that would contradict his diatribe in attacking her previously, and he can never admit that he was wrong. in his mind, he is bigger than the liberty movement, and that is damaging to our cause.
Alex
Debra will win today -
no run-off!

Thanks
RT makes pretty good interviews.

I
just don't know about Alex...he WAS relatively fair in this interview...
What I didn't like was when he said the polls say Medina is probably gonna lose. What polls? The polls where they ask approximately 400 PEOPLE how they're voting? 400 PEOPLE?? Another poll has Medina at 63%---I think I like that poll better!

i noticed that too...
why would he suddenly trust the latest poll and say medina "probably won't win" when he has made a career out of NOT trusting the media and NOT trusting the established politicians... seems a little suspicious to me.
For This Alex Jones person IS a "JUDAS" Piece Of C-R-A-P
For this Alex Jones person is named by me as "P.O.C." His rewarded duty is to circumvent and undermine simple and hardworking Texans Freedom and Liberty. How? By circumventing "The True Freedom and Liberty Message" and instituting his own. He Will Forever BE: "The JUDAS Piece Of C-R-A-P" that he indeed IS. I Despise this low-life piece of excrement for attempting to "assist" in the discounting of Debra Medinas "VALUES" to "WE TEXANS." Jones has attempted to lower Texas Freedom candidate, Debra Medinas Chances to actually WIN the Governors seat. Any of his little Sheepies that don't like what I have to say...All I can say is ...Grow Up.
Yep, I noticed also. Alex says Medina will lose.
Now, even if he believes that to be true, why would someone that supports liberty say that during an election, except in opposition?
I don't trust Alex Jones. I think he's used to deliver the "truth" in a way that most people will avoid it and disbelieve it i.e. screaming and shouting things through bull horns.
Alex Jones is incredulous to many people, so in a way he damages even the truth, because people don't believe what he says.

...then why do we need to get news from their perspective?

I hear ya...
When the BBC and CNN can report that WTC 7 had collapsed, 22 minutes before it actually collapsed, you have to admit that those news agencies are REALLY, REALLY good at what they do. Who needs the boring current RT news when you can have the future news predicted?
