TX precinct convention results!

WE SHOULD KEEP A PERMENANT OPEN THREAD ON THE INPORTANCE OF BECOMING PRECINCT LEADERS AND RE-GAINING COUNTY CONTROL. A thread where we can post about the tactics we run into and how to overcome them. Also, with so many not buying the papers (from Wal-mart) a list of election form deadlines for each state and position. I would recommend doing this on www.resistnet.com. They have already laid the ground work for a state/county level of “leadership”. I am their coordinator for Dallas county, Missouri. I do the best I can to keep the information flowing to those that don’t have internet. We are getting ready for a BIG boost in the next month.

Many of you guys mentioned only a handful of delegates present...like 5 or 6, and your precinct probably has a slot for many more than that.

Ok, here's how what happend in Texas last presidential election...in a certain County.

Each precinct had a handful of delegates, just like you guys had last night. Everyone who showed up, basically, got to be a delegate. They filled out the delegate forms and mailed them into the county office. Well, somehow an "extra" list of Delegates showed up and filled in the "extra" spots needed for several of the precincts at the county convention. The county chairman argued that this "extra" list of Names were voted on in their precincts. Ofcourse they were not, and the people who really did show up to the precint meeting threw a fit when like over 100 extra delegates showed up and outnumbered the legally elected ones at the county convention and basically over threw the election process.

This is one of the ways they Cheat! And we all know who got Elected President because the person they CHEATED in order to nominate couldn't debate worth a flip.

Remember the names and faces of who showed up to your precincts, and remember if any names were voted on to be a delegate who were not present? It is ok to vote on folks who are not there...but this must take place the night of the precinct meeting...NOT at the county convention!

The Media slanted the story and sided with the chairman ofcourse...so general public who ofcourse was Not present at the convention only read what was in the paper were decieved into believing it to be true, and the rest is history.

I'm Precinct chair and 12 people showed up. All four of us Debra supporters are delegates to the County convention. I submitted 2 Resolutions that were passed. State Sovereignty and Term Limits. I was a delegate to the State Convention in 2008, thats where I first heard Debra speak when she was running for ViceChair of the Texas Republican Party. Hope to be a delegate to State this year.

Only three of us showed up, and one was the county chairman. First time for me, so it was very educational. Did my duty and submitted the We Texans resolutions without debate. I plan on attending the senatorial convention, hopefully I can move on to the state convention as well. I will need to start lobbying for that soon.

I am really shocked at the apathy for these conventions. No wonder the party is in shambles, no one gives a crap.

Between two precincts a total of 5 people showed up. There were only 2 in my precinct .The precinct chair and the secretary {Im the secretary} Each year me an precinct chairmen challenge each other for the seat.He being and ultra conservative Huckabee supporter and me being a Ron Paul libertarian. And depeneding on usaully which family members show up one of us wins the seat..............This year we were honored with the county chairmen showing up, he presented his resolutions with one allowing casinos in Texas...... I immediatly pointed out to him that Debra is a supporter of casinos. And that Perry is not. But the county chairmen tells me he cannot support Debra because of some grudge he is holding agianst her because she started a floor fight at the 2008 GOP convention.... At this point I just wanted to stand up on the chair tie a rope to the ceiling and hang myself right there. I did get one resolution in though and that was hand counted votes at the ballot box.

My Dad went to his convention in a different county in Ron Pauls district. They passed all of Medina's resolutions. They thought my Dad wrote those, and my Dad didn't say any different...They elected him Secretary. Hahaha... He said there were 5 other people there, all brain dead Perry supporters. I was reading him the election numbers as they were still coming in, he hadn't heard yet, his convetion had just ended, He didn't sense anything was wrong with the election numbers, he just thinks the majority of people are still brain dead Idiots. I just don't understand how so many people would vote for Ron Paul, but not vote for Debra Medina in the same district.
