commission a poll for the r3VOLution
Submitted by JKap on Tue, 12/11/2007 - 13:54From another thread:
Wouldn't it be possible to commission a poll pitting Ron Paul vs. the Democrats, such as this poll for Huckabee?
I don't know what the costs associated with such an endeavor would be, but I think it could be a productive exercise in breaking through the Corporate Military Industrial Media's blackout of RP.
Aren't there some public opinion research organizations, such as Zogby, that provide their scientific research "for hire," so to speak?
In the other thread, FreedomFanatick mentioned that a recent Zogby blind-bio poll of Independents, Democrats AND Republicans (in which Ron Paul won) was commissioned for $3000.
Whatever your opinion of MSM polling methodology is (I think it stinks), a poll like the one I suggested might raise awareness of the power of a Ron Paul candidacy in the general election.

the r3VOLution should commission a poll pitting Ron Paul v Dems
This is precisely why the r3VOLution should commission a poll pitting Ron Paul vs. the Democrats.
Easier said than done, I know. Please discuss.
I don't want to post this for the next week and a half!

Interesting idea, but you'd have to use Zogby
or another widely known or respected name, and I think you'd have to use a larger than average sampling of voters.

BUMP!!!
Guys I think this is a great idea!
Definitely
We definitely need to commission a poll. I want to know exactly how those being polled are chosen. We need a more accurate methodology. The "mainstream" polls ARE hurting the candidacy.

The good thing...
Even though we can't control the methodology, we pick the questions and we can ask it in such a way, that it's fair to our candidate...
