I'm totally against the government and all they stand for but i've been struggling here for some time.i'm the only one supporting my family the wife is a stay at home mom with our two precious little girls and im lucky if i make 250 a week and half that goes to the mother in law for car payments..so should i apply..? One thing that gets me is dont know bout other places but in Florida they ask if ur kids are up to date on their vaccines as they are not because im totally against them and what does that have to do with puttin food on the table right? anyways i value your thoughts let me know what you think

I would say yes to the vaccine question and go shopping

Because f@@k 'em. It's not like you haven't already paid for it anyway.

Unless you have to give away your soul

I would do it. Hey, you have been paying for it for years in taxes. Your family has been paying for it. You don't want your children to go hungry. That stinks. I don't care what anybody says. If I didn't have to pay so much in taxes, I would be donating a lot more to the local food banks. There are a lot of parasites on the food stamp roles but there are going to be a lot more hard working people who can't feed themselves.
And check out the local churches, too. They do have food banks and will help.
I would also find a away not to have more than one car payment. That alone will make you go broke.

Do what you need to do

We are all on hard times my friend and if you need to take advantage of this program to get by then so be it.
No one in their right mind is going to put you down for it.Especially with two kids.Have you looked into any of the free food banks or maybe a local church?I would start there before I went to the state(gov.)for some help.

I also commend you on keeping your wife with your kids as a full time parent. It's something I think needs looking at again and we should ALL take a look at our needs as far as material possesions. Why have a parent working just to pay for daycare,it's outrageous.

I don't have kids so I don't know about the vaccine thing but I'm sure they're gonna make you jump through hoops to comply with their program.

I also live in Florida(Broward area)and right now I'm just happy to be working.I wish you the best and hope things get better for you.Until then hang in there and do what you need to do to get by.

We are all we have.

I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees...

Have you

tried to see if any local churches have a food pantry where you can get some food? Locally (population 20,000) we have two churches who give out food every week. Our church only asks for your name and address.
