Anyone else get a letter from "The Nationalist Times"?

I received a letter in the U.S. postal mail from "The Nationalist Times" asking me to subscribe to their newspaper. I'm not sure how they obtained my name. I'm wondering if they bought the donor list from the Campaign for Liberty or earlier Paul campaign (without them knowing who it was), as they are appealing to Ron Paul supporters saying "The Nationalist Times cheers on the Ron Paul Revolution..." Some rogue employee might have even stole the list from Paul or from a another organization that bought the list from Paul.

Did anyone else receive the letter?

Not sure exactly what the newspaper is, but looking on Google, people on Stormfront.org seem to like the newspaper. It appears to have anti-semetic and racialist leanings. Is this neo-nazis trying to lure us?

"The overriding concern of The Nationalist Times is always America First, meaning what's best for the nation, specifically the small businessmen, producers, and workers who long ago were disenfranchized by the ruling Big Government/Corporate/Zionist/Militarist/Entertainment Complex."

It talks of the U.S. formerly having a "homogenous culture," complaining that that has changed.

UPDATE: So far, as of 5:28 pm EST 3/4/10, 8 people below including myself said they received the letter. (Don't expect me to keep updating the tally though)

I got one

here in Florida, went in the shredder.

"Endless money forms the sinews of war." - Cicero, www.freedomshift.blogspot.com

I got it, read it, and

put it in my "circular file" aka the trash.

affirmation: President Paul 2008

In a single thread, jocean has libeled Ron Paul, C4L and

The John Birch Society.

"I am wondering if the people who got it (letter from National Times) also got the New American mail that we received earlier in the Paul campagn. If they all did, then I would guess an employee of the Birch society swiped the names."

- jocean

The above is taken from jocean's comments about 10 down from this.

Why do I have to keep breaking things down for you?

Im not libeling John Birch society. I'm saying that a ROGUE employee might have stole the list from his employers. I'm not saying it would have been authorized by the organization. I said "swiped." That means "stolen." Not stolen BY the John Birch Society, but FROM the John Birch Society by an employee. Likewise, a rogue employee in the Paul organization could have stolen the list FROM Paul's organization and sold it to the Nationalist Times. See?

I got 2 from them

ZERO hesitation to throw it in the trash
ray charles could see thru that crap....

My advice is to write to them

My advice is to write to them and tell them exactly where they can shove it.

Just my advice, you don't have to take it.

thanks for your "helpfulness".

So now we know that it's possible for mailing lists to be exploited for more than just buying and selling things.

they can be used to smear people.

Just a hint of association, between this group, Ron Paul, and his supporters. That's all it takes.

Not unlike what you've just done here.

I'm sure you understand what happens when you post things like this. That's exactly why you've done it.

Tell me what GOOD can come out of "worrying" about this, in a public forum the way you've just done? What problem does it solve?

It solves nothing.
But I expected this stuff to start, just not so soon.

It's better to air this out

It's better to air this out in the open, so we can disassociate ourselves ahead of time. The worst thing you can do is try to put a lid on something embarrassing like this. True, the paper is not associated in any formal way with the liberty movement, but the liberty movements unfortunately attracts the far right. The far right AND the far left are both anti-establishment, so they will naturally follow any anti-establishment movement, no matter how benign.

I know someone who got 1. Isn't that nice that we're worth as

much to them as a 1st class stamp since most credit card offers don't come like that & therefore, we're not worth that much. But, they probably intend to sent it once, twice, 3x & that's it, whereas credit card offers come at least 300 a year. You ought to try collecting them & see how many you get. If you can't keep yourself from signing up, just cut out or darken out any pertinent parts of the application/ phone #s to call, so you can't sign up. Why should you owe anybody somebody else's federal reserve notes, which is exactly what happens when you're in debt. Someone has to owe you before you have access.

finish auto-reply thank God for bugs, they're company for people in solitary confinement.

For some reason, we're expected to know every law that exists in America & in our state so we don't break it. We're supposed to know this when we're 18. There's no litmus test for them, as in the 10 commandments or rhyme or reason. C.U.R.E.

Did that person donate to Ron Paul

in the primaries?

Good lord.

If it's that important to you, contact the paper and insist they tell you how they got your name then tell them to remove you from future mailings.

Have any of the people that received the mail donated to the Daily Paul recently?

I'm wondering if the people that got it

also got the New American mail that we received earlier in the Paul campagn. If they all did, then I would guess an employee of the Birch society swiped the names. (barring the Paul campaign selling them unwittingly)

No, I never got the New

No, I never got the New American mailing.

So now you are also libeling

the John Birch Society. What a piece of .... fill in the blank.

Freedom is a messy business, you know.

All kinds of people want it,and support candidates that might help bring freedom.
Even groups that you don't like, might want it.

Imagine that!

Got it over 2 years ago

I received a solicitation during the 2008 Ron Paul campaign. I suspect they got my name from the donors list. Out of curiosity I subscribed, but did not renew because it did not appeal to me. Basically, it was like an Alex Jones to the tenth power, with a theme of "the globalists want to eliminate the white male."

I

agree with BMWJIM, below. Are you not the same person who repeatedly gets banned here, then reappears a short time later under a new name?
Anyway, if you REALLY wanted to know, why didn't you contact Ron Paul and/or the C4L with your concerns instead of posting it here, with your not-so-subtle implications?
You don't have to answer me, because I wouldn't believe you anyway.

I'm a member of CFL

and I also donated and have NEVER gotten anything like this. I resent the deliberate association in the title of the OP. I call BS.

A better question would be is how to keep people that have been banned several times from signing on again under 'new' names.

Did you donate BEFORE the CFL

to the Paul campaign early on? That would be helpful to know.

Those of us who received the letter are just trying to figure out how we got on the list to receive a mailing apparently targeted to Ron Paul supporters.

Yes, many times

and why have you chosen the ALL CAPS to the name of the magazine in your title?? And you also wanted to get the "cheers on the Ron Paul Revolution" in the title too, eh??

You're motives are really very obvious. You and your post are BS and you know it.

I'll have nothing else to say to you..you aren't worth the time. I do hope you get banned again VERY soon.

"I think we are living in a world of lies: lies that don't even know they are lies, because they are the children and grandchildren of lies." ~ Chris Floyd

I used caps

in order to get attention for the post. If you don't use caps in any part of the message, the post often disappears quickly. People don't see it as easily.

Yes I wanted to get "cheers on the Ron Paul Revolution" in the title, because I wanted the headline to indicate that a nationalist newspaper was associating themselves with Ron Paul. Isn't that obvious?

I'm so tired of you conspiracy theorist looking for "motives" of people who post. It's so ridiculous. Everything's a conspiracy. Everything has some diabolical motive. Whatever!

Now, how early did you donate?

I say so what?

I just don't see why people care who supports Ron Paul. The way I see it is that EVERYONE should support Ron Paul, from the racist white supremacists to the racist ignorants that voted for Obama because he's black(which is far more people then the white supremacists that supported RP). Ron Paul represents individual freedom and liberty and pretty much 99% of every live person I've talked to about RP's positions on the issues agrees with them(just don't mention his name and RP's positions are supported by almost every person), so I'm never really suprised when I hear that 'this' group or 'that' group supports RP. What always supprises me is the groups that DON'T support RP and why they don't like individual liberty, sound money, and The Constitution.

This reminds me of that smear campaign during the presidential election when Don Black donated $500 to RP and some people were crying foul and saying that RP should return the $500. I was WTF?!? ....you would rather have the racist idiot keep his $500 to spend on stupid racist crap then to have RP use the racists money to promote individual liberty, sound money, and The Constitution? I just don't get how people become this stupid...but then again I don't watch TV.

i know, wtf is UP with some

i know, wtf is UP with some of the people here. I got the SAME letter and i don't think it's a coincidence. It might have been a link that each of us followed on the Daily Paul that the Nationalist Times web folks were able to derive our contact info from, it could be the C4L or donating to the RP 2008 campaign.

I donated to multiple money bombs for Dr.Paul, including the big one where the counter was just going ballistic! Remember that?! I thought it was never going to stop!

I have joined up at the C4L but have not donated to them for a very long while.

yo man, i got teh SAME mail,

yo man, i got teh SAME mail, and so did samuelhowell. Are there any other people who have received this solicitation in the mail??? It's not some big conspiracy to discredit anyone jeez. I got the mail and so did multiple other people. HOW we got on their mailing list is all that is being asked here. Honestly, I don't really care as I just threw their solicitation in the garbage, but it would be a wise idea to look into it so the whole anti-semite/racist smear stuff isn't given any more undue creedence, as we all know Ron Paul is neither anti-semitic or racist.

I received one a couple of

I received one a couple of days ago. Wasn't sure what to make of it. I was leery of it after having signed up for the News With Views paper that was endorsed by Devvy, which turned out to be a hoax.

Likely has to do with the

Likely has to do with the company you keep.

I try real hard not to bite on troll threads but this one really gets me tonight.

Trust in God, but tie your camel tight.

"Socialism needs two legs on which to stand; a right and a left. While appearing to be in complete opposition to one another, they both march in the same direction." - Paul Proctor

"Likely has to do with the company you keep."

I think you just hit the nail on the head BeaReady. The people in this thread who received the solicitation in the mail from an apparent white supremacist organization are concerned that Ron Paul will be smeared with *keeping company* with the likes of them. That's not something that anyone here wants and just want to get to the bottom of how we got on their mailing lists so as to avoid things like that in the future.
