Rand Paul running away with it

0 votes

This news according to Rasmussen:

  • Rand Paul leads Democratic Lieutenant Governor Daniel Mongiardo 51% to 34%.
  • Paul posts a 49% to 34% lead over Democratic state Attorney General Jack Conway.

The Rasmussen article also erroneously states, Trey Grayson, Kentucky’s secretary of state, is locked in a tight GOP Primary battle with Paul...

Tight battle? I guess if you consider Rand's commanding 21 point lead over Grayson, "tight."

Tight as in uptight ;-)

I'm sure Trey Grayson is in a murderous funk about the way Rand appeared "out of nowhere" to steal Trey's birthright.

New Hampshire and Ecuador

rand is such a smooth talker

rand is such a smooth talker and a good interviewer, traits that go over well with the ignorant voters. plus he has some star power, as they ask him about his dad all the time. rand is awesome!

JOHNSON OVERTAKES PAUL IN THE POLLS

ELKTON — The Bill Johnson for U.S. Senate campaign received the following poll results. Shamrock Polling conducted the statewide poll for an undisclosed client. Questions regarding the poll can be directed to Persistence Consulting (persistenceconsulting@gmail.com). The Johnson for U.S. Senate campaign did not pay for or participate in this poll. The results are consistent with internal polling done by the campaign.

We asked 1,257 likely republican voters the following questions:

“Who are you planning on voting for US Senate in the republican primary on May 18th?”

Trey Grayson 27%
Bill Johnson 23%
Rand Paul 21%
Undecided 29%

We then asked are you strongly, moderately, or leaning towards your candidate?

Rand Paul 7% 27% 66%
Bill Johnson 72% 21% 7%
Trey Grayson 52% 14% 34%

Margin of Error 4.5%

What should Rand Paul do if Beck invites him for an interview?

"Just say no" is the correct answer.

I'm pretty sure he's already

I'm pretty sure he's already been interviewed by beck several times, they seem to like each other. Rand is a genius at making phonies like him. Also Beck has essentially no reason to try to sabotage his campaign at this point, remember that Beck wants to look like hes a winner.

Was it 'tight' when Grayson led by 20 points?

Sounds like somebody's being told what to think.

44% to 23%

It ain't over till it's over. No poll is disclosing what the other 33% of the vote is. They're not saying if its undecided or what. This is a huge chunk of change. The tide can flow either way. It'll be a tough battle regardless. I don't trust their polls. They just want our guard down.

I don't

trust ANY poll, one little iota. Imo, they're used to ATTEMPT to get people to vote a certain way. A recent Medina poll had her at I believe 18%. I was able to determine later that only 400 people were polled. How many people live in Texas? 400 people polled? Are you kidding me? This represents all of Texas?
Anyway, another poll had her at 63%! Now they both can't be right! 63% or 18%? I would like to see people start voting their own mind, and not be influenced by what some stupid poll says.
In addition, I believe electronic voting needs to go bye-bye permanently...

Hope Schiff makes out well

Yea, Schiff's campaign has been pretty quiet. Not getting the big boost as Rand received from Kentuckians.

::fingers crossed::

Kentucky has an unbelievable

Kentucky has an unbelievable fair media. They treated Rand with nothing but respect and class for the most part.
