I’m done with the Tea-O-Con infested party and will be joining the Beer Party

The Tea Party was a fun ride: Born Dec 16th 2007 – Died Feb 11th 2010

I obviously want nothing to do with the progressive’s “Coffee Party” and have decided instead to join Mike Church in his newly formed Beer Party.

I’ll take beer any day over coffee or tea.

UPDATE:
Apparently Mr. Church read this post on his national radio program Friday morning (Sirius Patriot / America Right XM). Nice plug for the Daily Paul! Thanks for catching this gadfly. Now I don’t feel bad about being late to work because I was busy watching the “Introduction to the Beer Party” and getting the post out.

I personally am still recovering from the inaugural Beer Party weekend. This is already turning out to be WAY more fun than the Tea Parties were. Nothing like talking about principles of freedom with your buddies over a couple drinks.

How about......

"1776 The Birthday Party"

Does that mean

that we get to wear our "birthday suits", if we join?
:^)

one of my favorite Patriots...

Samuel Adams ,(who was both a maltster and a Puritan) and a theologian that I enjoy reading about (and yes, sometimes from,in spite of strong disagreement with his later opinion of Jewish people), Martin Luther, both had an affinity for beer. Luther, in particular, loved to stay up late Saturday having bierfests and discussing theology with friends and students. So I'd join!

Hey LibertyBoy! I heard your post mentioned on the Mike Church show (Sirius) this morning. Way to go! Definitely be joining you and the King Dude, but my beverage of choice is good ol' water (not from the tap or a plastic bottle), home filtered.

Refreshed and rejuvenated and standing with Good Patrick Henry!

Heard the King Dude

Mention the Daily Paul again on today's morning show. He said most of the hits to his site were coming from here.

Dang - I must have missed it

I listen to him every morning on my way in to work. He sure has come a long way in the last couple years. He even made my "People I Trust in the Media" list which is not easy.

Did he mention the Daily Paul?

Yes, he did.

Yes, Mike said something to the effect of "here's LibertyBoy's post on the Daily Paul" (little plug for the DP, eh?) and he read exactly what you had written, with glee in his voice, too!

I am a recovering Fox/Hannity/Limbaugh(shudder)/Beck (et al) listener. Once the good Doctor Paul cured my apathy I despaired of hearing any like-minded hosts on conservative radio. When Sirius introduced the Patriot channel, I was optimistic but then disgusted by the same neo-con rubbish... until I happened to hear a blurb of "Church Doctrine" and my hope was restored! It can happen! A neo-con can change!

Updated Post

Thanks again gadfly, that made my weekend hearing he read this post on his show.

Thanks for the update gadfly

That’s awesome Mr. Church read this post on his show. I just picked up his Spirit of 76 cause I’ve heard it’s really good and thought it’d be an easy way to thank him for mentioning the Daily Paul.

Cheers

Count Me In!

Where's the drink tank?

Foreign or domestic?

Will we be restricted to domestic beer?

Oh! No, Mike said we can drink whatever we wish. :-)

(except Ron Paul!)

Right...except Ron Paul.

I'll have to...

...drink it over for a while.

Hey, I think I could get behind this. I used to work in a think tank, but a drink tank sounds like a lot more fun.
