While I still have work to pay my bills and provide for my family. I want to take a moment and offer this video as a tribute of hope to those of you out there who are hurting as a result of the economic warfare being waged against the common American.
Yes, the imagery is simple, the message is clear.
Friends.......The infighting must stop.
Anyway. My prayers go out to those of you who need them.
You know who you are.

I am from an older generation--
very good words--
as a person who has studied social history a lot, our present era reminds me of the industrial revolution, when so many people lost their crafts/cottage industries to factories--
after several centuries of factories, those are now going--
this time, however, there is no 'cheap' land in a country across a sea?
It's an interesting time to be alive, and thank you for the kind thoughts; we at this ISP address are underemployed, and it has been very hard to see close friends and warm acquaintances struggling to find a way to provide. We are genuinely worried for many of our family and friends, neighbors.
One thing spouse and I have done is to try to build community, starting in our 'neighborhood'--
sharing, trading, helping out, being real neighbors--
one of the best kept secrets, though I suspect Octobox knows about it is that ANY community can survive if it is unified--
'they' don't want *us* to know that!!!
