At least ten people were standing between Officer Jerry Dowell and Catherine Bleish at that point. So she said he told her to repeat it. She did.
She said, "Then [he] walked toward me asking if I wanted to go to jail. After [that], I said 'to jail for what'? 'What have I done?' He said 'I'll make something up' and I said, 'Did you seriously just say that?'"

Allow me to comment on the issue between Officer Jerry Dowell and Catherine Bleish. After hearing about the incident and viewing the KTVI news report, I feel compelled to voice my opinion.
It seems as though Officer Dowell has forgotten his oath to uphold the Constitution Of The United States when he violated Miss Bleish’s Civil Rights. I realize he has only been on the force for a short while, but can’t help but wonder how many other times he has violated, or will again in the future violate someone else’s rights. As a concerned citizen, I’m tired of seeing our rights being compromised and have zero tolerance for this type of behavior, be it on a national or local level. It’s up to our city officials, like you, at the local level, to uphold these basic human rights that your forefathers, and mine, have lost their lives for. These types of incidents are the exact same thing Dr. King fought and protested against and ultimately lost his life for.
I realize you do not condone this type of police activity and commend you for your comments and actions thus far against Officer Jerry Dowell, but if one does not eliminate the problem, aren’t they just as guilty should it ever happen again? Asking for Jerry Dowell’s resignation would speak volumes for your stance on civil rights and set precedents for future Mapelwood, MO officers, not to mention enhancing your image within the community both locally and nationally. I encourage you to consider taking a stronger stance against Officer Dowell and this type of gestapo police conduct.

As hard as Catherine Bleish and John Bush are working to establish credibility among law enforcement working in fusion centers, it is still important to recognize tyranny for what it is and fearlessly speak out against it. I salute her hard work on this issue...she is in it for the long haul.

the officer should spend the night in jail and have to worry for five weeks wether he is going to have a permanent criminal record and more jail time and possibly lose his job just as she did.Then still take a pay reduction while being retrained. Will he make something up to shoot some one too? I think a mental health evaluation is in order also. Or just fire him.

Filing ASAP, a civil rights suit for 10 million, will go a long way towards forcing these agencies to TEACH, IN THE ACADEMY, the requisite respect for the Constitution and Bill of Rights! Speaking as a former cop, placing this officer back on the line is in no way teaching him anything but a very low level situation handling savvy! Or, how to not get caught!
There is zero respect taught in this process, for the unalienable God given rights being violated, in his committing of more than one felony... you try that on someone! That chief appears to be clueless, as well the officer clueless, when he could have been filled with awe at his lack of training and error!!

so was catherine bleish. it was provocation. - that's her thing.
catherine follows a radical 'marxist' agenda of saul alinsky. it is about the only hope is thru youth and to basically disrespect the elders and to infiltrate from within.

that did it for me. the good doctor has been in the fight for a long time and i respect his decisions. he knows what he's doing. he does NOT EVER deserve to be called that!

You're right about this. I'm a baby boomer and I know many other baby boomers who were constitutionalists before the members of the so-often-mentioned younger generations were even born.
Let's not forget that most of the people who write for Lew Rockwell are baby boomers. So is the judge and many others. And let's not forget that in the freedom movement, we are all standing on the shoulders of giants (Jefferson, Hyak, Rothbard, Rockwell, Paul, etc.)
So let's not count out the baby boomers. We should not categorize each other. Let's keep it together and stay focused. We are all equally in this together, my friends.

is a fabulous example of a Patriot who is a doer and not just a talker. She was very instrumental in drafting and passing Article 5 of the Articles of Freedom. The advice presented ought to be taken seriously and transformed into action. Show her you really support her and work to implement Article 5 and other Articles in the AOF. She earned my respect and I would guarantee she will never back down from tyranny. We need to clone her 10,000 times.
