This is good stuff. If you think about it objectively & NOT Emotionally the gov't. has benefited from 9-11 in lots of ways. Just the fact that you can't buy a plane ticket anymore using a different name was incentive enough for them. Plus you also need to show official ID. Before you could buy a plane ticket using the name Mickey Mouse & not show any ID. (Unlesss you were flying abroad). Most folks didn't but the option was there.

... Wow, i was stunned. They said all the right things and the ABC news guy looked like a huge a** hole... I told you, Im not really a truther, although I was for a while. But regardless, those boys brought a lot of sympathy in me. That news reporter should have gone to those people and interviewed them. What a jerk. Good grief, that was messed up.
Look: Do I believe that 911 was an inside job? No, not really... However, do I believe we should not have a new investigation? No, absolutely we should!!! The reason we are having these wild conspiracies, is because we have an asshole government who is not making it easy to defend them. I agree completely that the stone walling should be IMMEDIATELY stopped, or we will never have justice. Thats all I have to say. Good job with the interview, Loose Change.

Why do you think this "Asshole Government" won't even discuss it? Duhh, because it was an inside job. When you can't debate the facts, you attack the Messenger. The oldest trick in the book. And everyone falls for it over and over again.

...and was interested in real investigative journalism, they would not be asking some of these stupid questions which were obviously loaded as Dylan pointed out.
I understand the irritation here, but I do wish Dylan had not let this guy push his buttons. Still, they did great in the interview.
It was very hard to hear the ABC interviewer, btw. Not sure if anyone else had that problem. I had to max out my volumes on the video and my computer to hear him.
POS. Asking stupid questions with that ridiculous smirk on his face. I wish I could hear the reporter better. I'm struggling to make out what he's saying.

of the Powerful
The label "conspiracy theory" is commonly used to try to discredit criticism of the powerful in government or business.
For example, just this week - after Tony Blair was confronted by the Iraq Inquiry with evidence that he had used lies to sell the Iraq war - Blair dismissed the entire Iraq Inquiry as simply being part of Britain's "obsession with conspiracy theories". (Not only did Blair know that Saddam possessed no WMDs, but the French this week accused Blair of using of ‘Soviet-style' propaganda in run-up to the Iraq war).
Of course, the American government has been busted in the last couple of years in numerous conspiracies. For example, William K. Black - professor of economics and law, and the senior regulator during the S & L crisis - says that that the government's entire strategy now - as during the S&L crisis - is to cover up how bad things are ("the entire strategy is to keep people from getting the facts").Similarly , 7 out of the 8 giant, money center banks went bankrupt in the 1980's during the "Latin American Crisis", and the government's response was to cover up their insolvency.
And the government spied on American citizens (even before 9/11 ... confirmed here and here), while saying "we don't spy". The government tortured prisoners in Iraq, but said "we don't torture".
In other words, high-level government officials have conspired to cover up the truth.

There Are No Conspiracies Because Daddy Will Always Protect Us
It is scary for people to admit that those who are supposed to be their "leaders" protecting them may in fact be human beings with complicated motives who may not always have their best interests in mind.
Indeed, long-term psychological studies show that approximately one-quarter of the American population has an "authoritarian personality", where they look for a "strong leader" to protect them (that's why even after his lies were exposed, Bush still stayed at approximately a 25% approval rating).
"I think we are living in a world of lies: lies that don't even know they are lies, because they are the children and grandchildren of lies." ~ Chris Floyd
The term “conspiracy theory” is often used to denigrate and discredit inquiry into the veracity of suspected SCADs. Labeling SCAD research as “conspiracy theory” is an effective method of preventing ongoing investigations from being reported in the corporate media and keep them outside of broader public scrutiny. Psychologist Laurie Manwell, University of Guelph, addresses the psychological advantage that SCAD actors hold in the public sphere. Manwell, writing in American Behavioral Scientist (Sage 2010) states, “research shows that people are far less willing to examine information that disputes, rather than confirms, their beliefs … pre-existing beliefs can interfere with SCADs inquiry, especially in regards to September 11, 2001.”2
Professor Steven Hoffman, visiting scholar at the University of Buffalo, recently acknowledged this phenomenon in a study “There Must Be a Reason: Osama, Saddam and Inferred Justification.” Hoffman concluded, “Our data shows substantial support for a cognitive theory known as ‘motivated reasoning,’ which suggests that rather than search rationally for information that either confirms or disconfirms a particular belief, people actually seek out information that confirms what they already believe. In fact, for the most part people completely ignore contrary information.”3
