I just had to scream it. If anybody else is feeling upbeat about our future as a movement..

We are making a difference. We are the future. Paul was spot on with the Cafferty interview. "I have faith because of the young people."
We are not going away. We are only getting stronger, smarter and larger. Look at the stats from Alexa for DP and C4L. Look at the polls in KY and how much Schiff is raising.
The Medina loss hurt, but it showed that we have muscle.
Our ideas are going to win. The ideas we share are the foundation that made our country great. Keep up the fight!!

preparing us for not only the immediate elections, but also for the POST-IMPERIAL American ways of life.
That is why I feel so energized and filled with hope, when I hear him talk and read his writings. He fine-tunes our way of thinking in all matters - personal, political and spiritual (yup, even our relationship with the heavens above).
When we get in sync with his forceful messages of Peace & Liberty, we will be ready to face any calamity. We will have our eyes wide open to pick up whatever wrecks we are dealt with and have the blueprint of the honest (constitutional) community that we want to build around us. -y

Remember what Dr. Paul said and remember how far we've come to where we are now. We're probably going to lose more elections than we win in the near term, but they can't stop an idea who's time has come.
Here in Iowa, we just finished 2 weeks worth of GOP district conventions. 4 of the 15 new State Central Committee members are hardcore Ron Paulers. At least 2 more are are sympathetic and one or two of them are young and well meaning but naive, so they could be turned. Will Johnson has an outside shot at winning the primary for Congress in the 1st district, and win or lose he's lighting the fires for liberty wherever he goes.

Ron Paul hasn't gone away, he's getting stronger!
But, it's up to him to organize a professional staff that can play hardball. That was his mistake last election-weak campaign staff. They did an awful job in preparing him, and enlisting supporting characters to come to his aid. They basically left him out there on the world stage to fight for himself. The grassroots became energized and did a lot to further the movement, but his official staff had their heads in the sand and didn't know what to do with us. Now, it's the Tea Party movement. The GOP hacks are seemingly doing a very good job of seperating Ron Paul out. The Tea Party is more associated with Sarah Palin, and Sean Hannity than it is with Ron Paul. Huge critical mistake by the Ron Paul people, unless they have a plan to re-capture the popular Tea Party theme nearer the election. If that's the case, fine, it could work, but something tells me that the Ron Paul staff is still inept when it comes to the brutal National scene. My opinion, Ron Paul needs to come out now with his re-election choice and show the Nation his determination to fix Washington D.C. Americans like driven people, not wish/wash. And then put together a hard hitting staff, and pull in real "cabinet" like people who not only can get on the air, but will use the opportunity to bolster RON PAUL, not the Tea Party, the GOP, or themselves. For Ron Paul to win, he's going to have to go for the jugular! The time to plan to win is NOW.

However, watching and participating in the current caucus process in Washington, I am not quite so optimistic. The question everyone is asking here is "where in the world was/is everybody???" We should have taken precinct after precinct. We need to rout out the corrupt GOP leadership in this state and you only do it by this process or by lawsuits. The first is relatively easy, the latter costly and time consuming.
This goes back to the only viable strategy which can......
succeed. We must establish our power base from the bottom up. Becoming delegates and more importantly (actually the most important thing) being elected delegate chairpersons. I cannot stress this approach enough. This is the only way we will be able to acquire (some might say re-acquire) the needed power structure to be successful. From there, everything else will fall into place. It all starts at the local levels.
