The legitimacy of Barack Obama's presidency is being questioned by a group of American activists. They claim he shouldn't be in the seat of power - alleging he wasn't born in the U.S. RT talks to one of the leaders of the so-called "birther movement", who believes Obama's birth certificate was forged.

there is real stuff to focus on..if the political process and congress does not care this will never amount to anything..find an issue that you can work on locally..then you may have done something useful..

We've got to be careful to diligently research materials being promoted as legitimate before we forward them to others because of the possibility that they may, in fact, be false. We've got to be on our toes and protect our credibility at all times, IMHO.

Hawaii gets persistent requests for Obama birth certificate
More than a year after his historic election, requests for President Obama's birth certificate continue to pour into the state's understaffed Health Department from people on the Mainland who refuse to believe he was born in Honolulu in 1961.
In an attempt to stem the flow of requests, the agency recently set up a special page on its Web site devoted to the issue of Obama's birth certificate and who is eligible to get the records.
