MOCK COURT - Education Time!

I would like to suggest creating a section for education here on the DP. I would like to see a mock court with participants from the DP family on every issue known to mankind. Where else could you get this and get your own truth. We can see some of the really great minds debating issues affecting us today.

To make this truly work it would require you to look at many of the differing personalities and pet subjects here at the DP and pick whom should debate. I think they should at least start off with the individuals that really believe in a subject and have them defend the opposing views. Then when done it should immediately go to the other side and defend their views. They must honestly defend the views given to win the debate.

I know this may be far fetched but I have never had an education as I have received here on the DP. Am I ready to debate? I think not at this time, but I could with the help of my family here at the DP.

I would like to start with the ism's. Give me the pros and cons. Then give me the cons and pros from the same individuals. Is this a challenge. You Bet! I can eventually see Rhino vs Rhino, Republicae vs Republicae, WarBucks vs WarBucks. You must agree this would be educational for all of us.

I have this thirst for knowledge. What better way to give it. In time I will participate in the debate. We should not contribute in the comments section until the debate is finished and then we can vote on the winner. Everyone must remember that the true debate is not over until both sides have finished debating both sides of the issue.

What fun and educational. Help me guys! Couldn't we all learn. This is just my thoughts. In time we can start our own debates under this rule of engagement. Then no one should become offended especially if you debated your pet/primary beliefs after defending the opposite.
