Looks like the people of Kentucky are sick of the status quo.
Can't wait to see Rand win this election.

Haha, yeah.
The camera crew must be republican and the back room must be democrats. ;)
How refreshing...
to see a candidate with a real job. That interview is highly valuable from a political perspective. To show Rand in his scrubs on the local news will resonate with a lot of people.
Polls, polls, polls
Now that Rand is starting to make some headway with the Kentucky population, watch the pollmeisters start to add a counter weight to the results. You'll see Grayson come roaring back before the election, right on schedule.

AP: Poll shows Paul, Mongiardo have strong leads
Sunday, Mar. 07, 2010
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Republican Rand Paul and Democrat Dan Mongiardo have strong leads in their U.S. Senate primary campaigns, according to a new statewide poll.
The Courier-Journal/WHAS-11 Bluegrass Poll found Paul, a Bowling Green doctor, leads Secretary of State Trey Grayson 42 percent to 27 percent in the GOP race. Mongiardo, the state's lieutenant governor, leads Attorney General Conway by a similar wide margin, 45 to 27 percent.
Undecided voters were at 19 percent in both polls.
"Rand Paul has earned a lot of credibility on the issues Kentuckians care about, like a balanced federal budget, term limits, strong national defense and following the U.S. Constitution," he said in a statement.
Grayson's campaign head said Grayson is more concerned with the final election results.
"Once Kentucky Republicans learn more about the radical views of Rand Paul ... they will have a different opinion," Nate Hodson said.
Paul, the son of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, led in the demographic groups based on age, gender, education and income level, according to the poll. Mongiardo leads across gender and age groups and is particularly strong with older voters, according to the poll.

you gotta love the planned walk!
HAHA!!
Did you see Rands Awesome strut at 1:17! The video editing guys didn't do such a good job here!
I call that the liberty strut.
Mongiardo and Grayson are
Mongiardo and Grayson are little twerps.
I like
how Rand is all at work and stuff when they interview him, and the democrat guy was, well, lets say, a democrat guy.

It looks like...
the media is starting to think that the general election match up is going to be Rand Paul vs. Dan Mongiardo. Notice how Mongiardo had to attack Paul's supporters who showed up to protest him and support Jim Bunning. There's a long time to go until May 18, and Trey Grayson has plenty of time to run negative ads. There's still a lot of work to be done to get Rand to victory in the primary. For Rand to win, all he needs to do is to hold his current support and win 50% of the undecideds. This would get him 51.5% of the vote, which would put him over the top. However, he would win by an even greater margin if the undecideds broke at the ratio of current Paul/Grayson decideds, plus he added some minor candidate supporters who abandon their candidates in the final week to help pick the winner.
Notice how Mongiardo had to

When Democrats to send in their rent-a-mobs to shout down a Republican candidate it's "the people speaking". When grassroots folk chant inconvenient points at a Democrat candidate it's "uncivil" and "polarizing".

I think Grayson will unleash
I think Grayson will unleash some major attack ads against Rand when he thinks the time is right. Seems like he won't go away quietly, though it would be nice if he would just step aside and let the better man(Rand)go to the senate.
