Brave Jesse Ventura speaks TRUTH and media RUNS AWAY

"We're not going to talk about that, that is plowed ground for us."
THAT is all they have to say to a man who says straight up that he thinks the government was involved in 9-11. Look at the heyday they have with the mealy mouthed, cowardly responses the "liberty candidates" keep coming up with.
GO JESSE! Truth is always worth defending, NO MAN is worth "following." When they are being good men, stand with them, when they are being cowards, leave them behind. ALWAYS stand on your principals. Look how good it looks on Jesse!
At 1 minute in, Jesse brings up Bush and one of his 9-11 lies. The media weasel just caves in and does not challenge Jesse at all. :) THAT is how an honorable man behaves.

I saw Ventura on...
Larry King & The View. On King, he spoke about his belief that the only solution to our corruption was to elect third party candidates. How could he be that stupid?
I'm real anxious to read his book as the premise he had about all lone assassins having 3 names was real cock-eyed. Also, his premise that John Wilkes-Booth has purposely been depicted in history books as acting alone was way off-base. Most detailed histories do include all the people in the conspiracy to kill Lincoln, members of his cabinet & Grant. These are just picky thinks of mine, but I appreciate all the other topics he addresses in his book.
Ventura says Palin is a quitter :-)
.
One thing I love about Jessie
One thing I love about Jessie is he is not afraid to speak his mind anywhere any time or place!

I agree
That goes a long way with a lot of people, he has guts and balls plus principle, that is a rare combination indeed.
That's
the one of the main things I like about him, too.
While I don't agree with all his stances (or any past-or-present candidate, for that matter), I do agree with several of them. He does have the main qualification I always look for: I believe him when he says he wants what is best for USA...

Not name dropping Dr. Paul
Since Jesse is promoting his book about conspiracies, he's probably doing us all a favor by NOT mentioning Dr. Paul. I believe that it was a conscious decision for him, with liberty's best interest in mind.
i like ventura but i agree
i like ventura but i agree with sunny, so often he has a chance to put ron paul's name out there but he doesn't. there are issues he clearly agrees with ron paul on and yet he fails to give him the credit he deserves which would serve to get more people to find out more about ron paul. if he really wants us to adhere to the constitution then who better to promote than ron paul? i have always found that odd especially during the last presidential campaign when he himself wasn't even running, in interviews, ventura would claim there was no one out there when he knew there truly was.
People need to realize the
People need to realize the world does not revolve around Dr. Paul. He has done much to wake people up however at the end of the day it is the individual men and women that will have to effect real change (and I am not talking about voting) or accept thier fate as slaves.

It is amazing
that so many people like to armchair quarterback an interview, and scold different people for not saying this or that. You never know WHAT you'll say until YOU are in the hotseat, with lights shining, and cameras rolling.
You HEARD the guy say it was 4am for him.
I would like to see one of YOU, get up at 4 am and proceed to be grilled by these twits.
I am not excusing him for not mentioning RP. Maybe he has his own reasons.
Maybe he doesn't like the fact that RP keeps being loyal to the GOP, which beats him up at every turn, boos him at the CPAC, and tries to marginalize and ignore him whenever possible.
Frankly RP's relationship with the GOP reminds me of abused wife syndrome.

jefferson, he was asked
by both of them about someone in politics - specifically - about the constitution - and he plays dumb. give me a break.
yeah it's 4 am - blah, blah and blah - but he knew what question he was being asked. he damn well sure knew.
why do you defend that?
and he was asked to and did speak at the rally!
i'll say it again - screw you jesse!
Ron Paul is My President
and you have your opinion and
and you have your opinion and i have mine. the fact is when i have heard him interviewed over the past two years and there has been specific questions concerning the constitution and the lack of adherence, he will not mention ron paul and i doubt that all the interviews i have heard were 4 am venues. like you say, maybe he has his reasons but at the same time if the constitution is of concern, as it should be, then why not at least mention the name of one of its biggest defenders? it's that simple.
yes, you are correct gibson
about the interviews that JV has given.
this is not the first time he has AVOIDED mentioning ron in public.
he's done it several times.
thanks for posting that.
Ron Paul is My President
I would do the same
I have given up on politics and politicians, and if a poltician will not stand up for people like Beverly Eckert and Barry Jennings, I would not say I supported them either. In this case, by not standing for truth, Dr. Paul is helping cover for liars. I know it is not an easy choice for him, I do think he is a good man at heart, but I believe he made a HORRIBLE decision, and I will nto give him a pass on it.
HEROES are being slandered - and the families of people who died trying to save others. It is time for people to decide, are you following a person or standing for a principal?
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.
paul4won
first of all neither you nor i know the truth of what happened on 9/11. other than advocating another investigation into the matter which ron paul has stated he would support, there really isn't anything he can or should do. he has been on a decades long mission to expose the fed and get americans to follow the constitution. we have all seen how the media attacks him on just these two subjects alone and now you want him to damage his ability to promote these two huge issues? that makes no sense. personally i am all for the 9/11 truthers doing whatever they can to expose the truth concerning 9/11 but feel it naive to think someone in ron paul's position should agree to do anymore than support another investigation at this time. exposing the fed alone could be of great benefit to the 9/11 truthers as it will expose more of the lies in government. as others have pointed out, he is one man and he is doing a great job in a way he feels best serves we the people.
and thank you sunny for all
and thank you sunny for all the information you post, i appreciate learning all i can.
Ventura and Shiff Rock
Ventura and Shiff are extreme bad-asses. No doubt. Someone called "Shiff" a bully on a recent DP thread...well, that's what I like about him.
No nonsense freedom warrior badasses.
Sorry Kyle
But there is NO comparison between,Shillff, and Ventura.
PS, buys the official story, and bases his ideas on foreign policy on that flawed mindset. ie; Bombing Iran etc. He ridicules anyone who questions by bringing up "Elvis and aliens"
JV, DOESN'T buy the official story, and wants to bring our troops home, and scolds the US Govt. for not going after UBL, if that was truly who was behind it. Openly questions why the FBI hasn't formally charged him with 9/11 on their top 10 most wanted site.
PS= tiny little squirrel sized balls
JV= large watermelon sized balls that must be carried in a wheelbarrow.
Size DOES matter in this case.

haha!
Excellent points, but only restricted to the 911 conspiracy.
On monetary issues and foreign policy issues I think Schiff takes the cake between the two.
Kyle
"only restricted to the 911 conspiracy."
Just about all of the negative turn of events has SPRUNG from "the 9/11 conspiracy"
The "9/11 conspiracy" encompasses a lot of things, both economic, constitutional, and foreign policy related.
Granted JV is not as financially savvy as PS. There are a lot of things JV, needs to be educated on. But the difference is, that he is learning, and growing, and is not afraid to speak what he believes to be the truth, whenever and whatever that may be.
If you think that PS "takes the cake" by agreeing with bombing Iran's nuclear sites, and possibly starting WWIII, as opposed to investigating why we went to war in the first place based on lies, and taking our troops out of harms way, then there is probably no point in wasting any more keystrokes on you.
There is no comparison.
PS= no balls, with a closed mind
JV= balls, with an open mind, and willing to learn and speak truth whenever possible.
Why do you think JV was elected Governor with a budget of just 300k dollars, compared to his opponents budgets of 10's of millions?
He was allowed into the debates. He spoke his mind as honestly as possible, and that effort rang truth to the voters of Minnesota.
He is far from perfect. No candidate will ever be.
But he is FAR more of a man than Shillff will ever be.

Ventura 2012
I Understand Why Many Of You May Dislike Him
I myself also see him being uninformed on many issues, one being, my so-called pet issue.. "illegal aliens", which he totally skews into utter nonsense.
BUT, "he is the only one", name another.. who can bring up these deeply, deeply corrupt, mostly unquestioned topics, boldly, unashamedly.. Without Wavering! which the United States Government has hide from the population. Who else can do it with his stature? please stand..
Ego-maniac? SO WHAT! he rewards himself, when no one else will? It takes him a deep understanding of who he is, so he goes within himself.. naturally some of this shows up as being ego-maniacal.
I also think Ventura is wrong
I also think Ventura is wrong on the illegal immigration issue. Ron Paul wants laws on the books against illegal immigration enforced, wants secure borders, no birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens, and no amnesty for illegal aliens. Ventura seems to think that anyone who holds those views must hate/fear "brown people". So, there is a big problem between Ron Paul(and most of Ron Paul's supporters who agree with him) and Jesse Ventura in that respect and why they will probably never see eye to eye and one good reason why you will rarely ever hear Jesse Ventura mention Ron Paul in a positive way. I don't think he's ever been specifically asked, but I can't help but think if Ventura is ever asked about Ron Paul's views on illegal immigration, that I just listed above, I wouldn't be surprised if Jesse launched into a personal attack against RP and say that Ron must hate/fear brown people if those are his positions.
This is one of the reasons I can't get on the Jesse Ventura Bandwagon, because I happen to think Ron Paul is right, and Jesse Ventura is wrong.
I don't see a problem with Ventura digging into conpiracies and exposing them, but I wouldn't want him in any kind of leadership position in government where he'd have any control when it came to things like enforcing immigration laws and whether to secure the border or not. I'd much rather have Ron Paul instead.
i don't dislike him.
i like that he stands up and says what he wants and he doesn't back down.
i don't like what he 'did' in this interview or actually what he didn't do. he had an opportunity of mention ron and he didn't.
i just think he needs to keep digging and lose the somewhat statist philosophy that i think he still has.
Ron Paul is My President
To the Jesse Ventura haters:
Get over your "there is only one true leader of the liberty movement" idol-worshipping.
And sunny, I heard Jesse speak at the rally too, and I didn't come away with the impression that he was "all about Jesse". Maybe it's your own personal bias or perspective.
gil,
maybe. but that's how it came across to me.
Ron Paul is My President
maybe you're mixing up Jesse
maybe you're mixing up Jesse with Gary Johnson.
Ventura 2012
no - i know who i'm talking ab out.
i'm speaking of the speech JV gave at the rally.
i remember it well.
Ron Paul is My President
Brave Jesse ? ? ? seriously, no
Shameless self promotion is perhaps audacious, but it is not brave. Its great he takes a stand for civil liberties, but he also has said that the electoral college is acquainted, that he believes in campaign finance reform, thinking that the government should finance campaigns, He won't talk about any other politician in a positive way.
Everything he says is superficial, he is the master of the sound bite, but there is no depth. That's why these conspiracy theories work for him.
i agree with you. jesse is
i agree with you.
jesse is great for exposing conspiracies and making bold statements that nobody else has the balls to make. but when it comes down to it, it really is just about him. he can't find an ounce of support for anyone else working for the same cause. that doesn't mean we should ignore what he has to say, but we know that he is, at the very least, slightly naive, and likely just self-centered.
well, some of you can say what a great guy
jesse ventura is and you are free to do so.
well, my opinion of him just went completely to the floor.
i remember back at the rally for the republic - his speech - was all about jesse. that is the impression i got.
and now this - SORRY! - he could have said something like "well, there is ONE i can name and that's Ron Paul. But he's a Republican and you know how i feel about the that..."
but he said NOTHING and he was asked more than once.
so i say once more SCREW YOU!
Ron Paul is My President
