Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) introduced H. Con Res. 248 a privileged resolution with 16 original cosponsors - including Ron Paul - that will require the House of Representatives to debate whether to continue the war in Afghanistan. Three hours of debate will occur on Wednesday March 10, 2010.

I'm contacting my congressman right now, Dean Heller, NV, to
find out why he voted "no." He was brought to heel two years ago when he saw how much of Nevada was behind Dr. Paul. Before that, he was neo-con. With this vote, his roots were showing.

is a huge month for activism for peace. Young Americans for Liberty, End US Wars, Peace of the Action, and many other groups are set to march and petition. We need to organize and facilitate that discussion here. For all that have showed interest today, realize that this can't continue. The only people that can correct this mistake are ourselves. I have KNOWN that this is true... that Washington in CLUELESS and a bunch of bought and paid for war mongers. But seeing this in action has just left me distraught.
We have SO far to go and it is costing so many lives while we try to change social mood. Both our military and the lives of the millions of poor innocents. I know I'll get over it, but right now I just can't stop crying.
I don't know how Dr. Paul has been able to watch this disingenuous, arrogant and hypocritical bunch lord it over him all these years.
We MUST be the ones that change the country. Pray, meditate, practice positive thinking..... I don't care. But if we don't change the "energy" in the country from hate and fear to LOVE and HOPE we are just doomed.
