Call your congresscritters today and ask them to please co-sponsor this bill.

As a factory worker in Ohio I will tell you first hand that NAFTA has been a total disaster for American small and mid sizes industry.

The abolition of nationalism and borders under the guise of the free trade has been the ultimate Illuminati objective since the late 1700s, notably illustrated by Aaron H. Palmer who had a law office on Wall Street in the first half of the 19th century. He catered to individuals interested in transnational business and managed their commerce and paperwork with the European bankers who advocated trade. By February 1837 when the bankers and politicians shrunk the U.S. credit market, Palmer already had a working relationship with N M Rothschild & Sons, located in the City of London. Palmer supplied the Rothschilds with an account of all the financial failures, as many as 280, in the months just before the final crash.[1]

The products of the labor of its citizens determine a nation’s prosperity. A brisk manufacturing base is essential, augmented by the service industry. Nationalists believe in reasonable tariffs that protect the nation’s industry. Free trade is detrimental to a nation’s wealth. So-called “conservatives,” those Republican “nationalists” who claim to put the U.S. first have promoted and participated, along with the Democrats, in the legislation of all of the nation’s free trade agreements. One cannot claim to cherish both sovereignty and accept free trade, through “multinational trade organizations and global financial conglomerates.” Marx, a mouthpiece minion for the elite, advocated both the income tax and free trade. He said of free trade, “it breaks up old nationalities” and eliminates the “bourgeoisie” (small businessmen).[2] Free trade functions to equalize the masses while elevating the elite and their acquiescent political devotees.

For those who did not read all of the above post - Economic Woes, a Consequence of Free Trade --- OR-- do not have time to do any further research ----In March 2010 Rep. Gene Taylor introduced a bill, HR 4759, TO WITHDRAW THE UNITED STATES FROM NAFTA. It was referred to the House Committee on Ways and Means...and has had no further action. After reading the above article, the importance of getting this bill passed becomes obvious. Perhaps we want to contact our Reps and push for this bill's passage??

Repealing NAFTA would have negative affects and positive ones if an alternate genuine free trade agreement was put in its place. NAFTA is more of a preferential trade agreement than a Free Trade Agreement.

Canada is the #1 supplier of oil and the #1 trading partner of the United States, more than a billion dollars of goods crosses our borders every day. Canada is one of the few nations in the world that is similar to America in its people, and its culture (minus the radical patriotism), and to jeopordize trade, or friendship between the two nations is ludicrous.

That being said, repealing NAFTA, is in Canadian interest not so much American. The agreement is greatly biased in American favor.

Affiliation with DP was avoided. I voted free trade WITHOUT NAFTA. I believe this to be the right way to go and the RP position.

Done and done

I just emailed my congressman urging his support for this bill.

... wow

I signed up specifically to post in this thread after lurking for almost 2 years now. You people are all unbelievably retarded. Ron Paul signed on to this bill not because he agrees with your "they're taking our jobs" bullshit, but because he doesn't believe that NAFTA is free trade ENOUGH! He has said many times that he wants to repeal it and then legislate completely open free trade with everyone.

Lurked for 2 years?

Just signed up ? You never felt need to comment before? Ain't buying it pal.

I voted for Ross

based on this debate. Bush Senior was laughing when Ross mentioned the sucking sound of the jobs heading south. (He appreciated the Texas straight talk) I was employed at a union shop back then and could not convince most of the union brothers that Clinton was going to sell them down the river. The unions at that time were all concerned about a bill Billy boy promised to them that prevented striker replacements, guess that never happened did union bro's.

all right! biggity bump.

Hmmm, seems some people must think NAFTA is a good thing, and should not be repealed, due to some people giving this a low star rating.

Thanks for the list

I remember that.

Ross had a wonderful way of connecting with the people. He spoke commonsense, and a lot of truth.

I honestly don't know where he stood or stands (is he alive?) on the Freedom movement.

At the time he was running, I was just becoming awakened to the PTB (Powers That Be) that rule our nation, like the smug monarchs of years past. I do remember Ross was a breath of fresh air, but America wasn't ready for him. Seems he did start an organization, much like C4L, not sure what happened to them, or what they were called, but I betcha many are in C4L now, and /or are followers of our great statesman, RP.

This most certainly wont

This most certainly wont pass...that would mean some jobs returning to the USA and the elitists scums could never allow that...but you can be assured my congressman will be hearing about it from me...thanks for the post
