I do note that it has been revealed that many in our military can read and are not allowed to sign in!! Hope you were able to watch the debate today and please know we want/we NEED you home, whole in spirit and body..we want you home alive!!

What I don't understand is
that the number of users at the top lately has not equaled the number listed below. It is often greater. I have noticed that over and over and have mentioned it before. It wasn't that way before the long close down of the site. After the close down, it started doing that sometimes, not always.

So this means we need to post double the amount of the posts we do here at DP on Dailykos and Hotair. Dailykos agrees with us on anti-war and civil liberties and Hotair agrees with us on monetary and fiscal policies. Talk about an uphill climb for freedom. If only we can attract more of those Liberals and Neocons to DP? Maybe not. :)

Heartbreaking but encouraging encounter with Marines
I was in Wilmington NC last summer and while partying downtown I engaged in conversation with some young active duty Marines. They assured me they are well aware of the disingenuous reasons for being at war and many are talking about it amongst themselves. They said that many... even high up in the military are in agreement with us and they 'have our back.'
