What will happen the next 2 years ?
Speculation thread... well I have my ideas, I collect info as much I can..but i wanna hear what your expectations are for the next 2 years.
Whatever about economy, geopolitics, political etc.
Personally I think gold will be much much higher by then, much to a ruined dollar or on the brink. I think there is a big chance of more wars, liberty will be under pressure even more, which will inspire a 2012 presidential race that will blow my mind.
I think fake liberty candidates will run and I think 911 will be a big topic. I think the public in many countries will be outraged.
I think the most likely outcome for the election is that the republicans will run a fake libertarian/tea party candidate like Palin for example, against Obama and then a third party choice will do well, cause the true revolution won´t vote for someone like that. So I think celente will be right with his third party prediction. Most people won´t vote as usual, they will be very poor as well, struggling.
Now who wins the presidency, is not so important. One man cannot save the day. Only an informed public, with the people taking power can do it. We already see the beginning of it, all the people running for office.

I would hope someone like Ron Paul would get elected but be serious it won't happen. The sheeple never research the people running for office. The idiots wait for the msm to regurgitate it's lies so they can eat it up. Look toward the election of mr. Brown as an example... But look on the bright side they have a whole dish of misery coming their way. Maybe they will wake up through the periods of tribulation but then again I doubt it because these say people will end up voting for the ac.

Ron Paul who follows the constitution... since he follows that, he could not do much as president, certainly nothing about the budget. he would insist the congress do it. If the system worked against him, he would not abandon his principles.
He could move troops around, but nothing much more than that.
If congress worked against him, he could do almost nothing.
Only thing that will save America, is what he has been doing all his life. To educate and awaken as many as possible.
The people have to wan´t it, cause they will get what they wan´t.

The 10th Amendment Movement snowball will become a roaring avalanche!
As the monetary system and
As the monetary system and economy continues to implode and more and more people lose thier jobs and get put out of thier houses, politicians tighten the screws for more taxes as their falling revenues continue to pick up speed, we will see more draconian measures to try and hold it all together.
We will see more incidents of individuals doing crazy stuff like flying air planes into IRS buildings or shooting up the pentagon. Eventually they will start attacking politicians directly and there will be rioting at least in some of the major cities. At some point the jobless and homeless will reach a critical mass setting in motions a recipe for chaos.
On the other hand some who are prepared will seek to create agrarian free societies away from major populations centers to try and survive the chaos and rebuild.
A free or very cheap energy device will come forth and help a lot of people be more self sufficient. Some of the homeless and jobless will be able to join those who prepared and become self sufficient using this and other technology coupled with old school knowledge of self reliance.
As Police and military try to use inflated money and it becomes increasingly worthless they will eventually leave the employ of the government and seek to look out for thier own families.
It will be up to us if the chaos completely breaks down society or a new free society emerges from the ashes of the failed commercial military fiat system.

Brother...you and I are on the same page. My prediction is very similar to yours, I will add the following though:
I believe that the Yuan will grow in value, and at the same time the dollar will fall drastically, during the dollars demise, gold, and silver will shoot up very quickly, and then, and only then will the world be able to have a currency, or a basket of currencies that will be back by something of value..ie..gold, or silver. I believe by June 2010 things will change very drastically in the currency arena. I hope I am correct, I am almost certain I am. Stock up on food, weapons, gold, silver, and liquor, and items that are essential, of course if you can buy property to grow your own food do so. I believe after June 2010 we may see some major things happening, especially here in the United States.

But for right now, they're trying to consolidate their holdings in more important places. South America, with the possible exception of Brazil, is largely off their radar. (though the new bases in Columbia are a bit disconcerting)
Besides, South Americans riot over a soccer match. It may be that, for now, the juice ain't worth the squeeze.
My bet's on South America, and Ecuador is my second or third choice.

but the government of Ecuador is too small at present to be of much use to them so it will take longer.
Any survival/freedom advantage for me in living there is only a side benefit though. It's been my plan to retire to Ecuador for five years now so I can pursue my insect photography in a species-rich, under-worked environment where the cost of living is super low (inexpensive food and transportation, no building codes in the countryside, no heating or cooling needs, and a year-round growing season). I could not afford to retire in the US.
