Kentucky Firearms Freedom Act and 10th Amendment Resolutions
This past Tuesday, Take Back Kentucky, a conservative grass roots organization, sponsored the "Sovereignty Stampede". Take Back Kentucky, along with patriots from the KY 9.12 Project, and KY Tea Party, descended on the Capitol in Frankfort to express our support for HB 87 (Kentucky Firearms Freedom Act), along with HCR 10, HCR 11, and HB 380 (10th Amendment Resolutions and Bills).
Rep. Darryl Owens has been blocking these bills in committee for some time now, so we wanted to let him know where Kentuckians stand on these bills. Rep. Owens was difficult to find, as he knew Take Back Kentucky was going to confront him on Tuesday. He even canceled his committee hearing to avoid having to deal with us.
Here's the video of him hiding, running, hiding, and running again, as we tried to deliver a stack of petitions of Kentuckians expressing their support for these important bills.

This is a good example of how Ron Paul supporters (like those in Take Back Kentucky), can find common ground, and work with other groups to fight tyranny on the state and local level.

Love it! Look at the smiles on those kids faces. Wonderful example for them.

I think I saw a home-schooled kid
getting a civics lesson :-)
New Hampshire and Ecuador
The best kind of civics lesson
There were three homeschooled kids on the video. One was my oldest daughter, and a friend brought his two oldest sons.
All three are itching to go back and fight for liberty. :)
