Deputies find moonshine still, an arrest was made. LOL. What year is it?

Bell Co. needs a new sheriff. Majority of KY s.e. counties are indeed dry. Shine has mostly been left alone recent years but looks like times are getting tough.

Hell yeah that stuff's valuable. I used to work with a couple of guys that spent time in prison for making and running untaxed liquor. They would smuggle it to Philadelphia and trade it for cocaine, which they brought back down south and made some real money with. The mob distributes the liquor to their bars in the north east, where the well connected pay high dollar for drinks made with authentic Appalachian moonshine.

The best way to drink it is fruit liquor. You take a jar of the clear stuff, throw in some plums, peaches, or strawberries, and a couple cups of sugar. Let the jar sit in your pantry for six months to a year, until the fruit starts dissolving, then drink the mixture on the rocks. It's smooth and sweet, and will get you drunk really quickly; it's dangerous stuff. Here's a little article about it, complete with photos:
