This was a comment in passing on another story. But i think raises alarms considering the GPS information being collected by the 2010 Census. What will these "black boxes" not be able to do?...
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration chief David Strickland told a congressional hearing on Thursday that the regulator is considering whether to make "black boxes" mandatory for all new vehicles.
The devices can capture data on speed, braking effort and other details which can be vital in reconstructing accidents.

New vehicle sales will drop big time

You can get horses for free around here
Of course, feeding them is not free, which is why the horses are...
I suspect the "cash for clunkers" was in part, to get untrackable rigs off the road. Why else would they need destroyed?
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.
You are correct!
However, they would still be able to track everyone with tag readers. That ain't enough. They want to be able to slow down your car, turn your car off, stop it, lock you inside, listen to conversations and tap into your GPS to see where you're going.
BTW- All of this technology is currently available. Just not in one neat little package. Older cars will not accommodate this software. So, scrap 'em, slaves!
the solar flares will do away with them... lol
