when you tear down the house and sell the building materials. If you can put in a lot of work and have the right equipment.
Also, if you are going to build a crime syndicate, one of these might make a good headquarter. Haha.

Contrary to what the article stated, these homes have been selling for peanuts for a number of years even prior to the global economic crisis.

I remember reading a while back about one of these houses being listed on eBay... then relisted after having been burned down.

There has got to be a reason why nobody is buying these homes at such low prices. It must be a seriously unsafe area in addition to major problems with the local government.

Just for comparison, how much would the area of land the houses sit on sell for in a remote rural location in the USA?

$10 for the house...
