the Tea Party insurgency

I am not posting this for the content of the article.

Who cares what its says....It's what subliminally is being conveyed to an average reader.

I am posting to highlight a media ploy to discredit and vilify the Tea Party philosophy. It is divide and conquer. They intend to drive a wedge with factions of the group and imply there are "Tea Party Leaders"

The opening sentence and title of my post says it all...(Tea Party Insurgency)

Who are these "Tea Party strategists"?

Here is the article.

Christian right leaders deeply troubled by the growing Tea Party movement...

is the Tea Party insurgency fueling discontent on the evangelical right? The small-government grass-roots movement, determined to halt tax cuts and health care reform, is increasingly at odds with the family-values flank of the GOP, which stresses hot-button cultural issues such as abortion and gay marriage.

Our opponents, those

Our opponents, those individuals who are robbing us, and destroying our freedoms have two strategies:

1. To take over the Tea Parties, to make them part of the Republican Party. We have all heard the nonsense about the Tea Parties being absorbed into the GOP. The Tea Party Movement is a reaction to the rejection of both the Democrat and Republican parties. This rejection is not directed against all Democrats or all Republicans, but at the leadership of both parties.

2. To demonize the Tea Parties as "anti-government", racist, anti-Semitic, violent and dangerous. We have also seen this. Tea Parties have been portrayed as radical, bordering on illegal.

My take on this is this: If the Tea Parties are going to of any effect, they need to steer clear of the GOP. This doesn't mean that they should shun anyone who runs on the Republican ticket. What it means is, the party leadership is the problem. It is the party leadership that is in bed with the globalists, the war mongers and those who are trying to destroy the Bill of Rights.

At the same time, beware of infiltration. We can expect to have people sent into the Tea Party movement who advocate illegal or violent acts, who promote racist and anti-Semitic ideas. And there will be someone right behind that person from mainstream media, ready to document the situation for broadcast.

And the same goes for people with screwball ideas. The Tea Parties really have no one in charge, so it's truly a grass roots movement. But at the same time, we need to make sure that people who are sent here to make us look wacky, dangerous or insignificant, are given the bums rush.

good point

thanks for sharing.

saw that article last night

it was so wrong I decided not to post it. Especially when I read the comments under the article expressing how wrong it was.

When one of the opening statements about the tea parties is that they are "determined to halt tax cuts", it is easy to image how wrong the rest of the article is. I hope I do not have to explain to anyone why this statement is so wrong.

Wrong on many levels
