Legendary Film Critic Roger Ebert Slams Neocons via "Green Zone" Review

"Green Zone" looks at an American war in a way almost no Hollywood movie ever has: We're not the heroes, but the dupes. Its message is that Iraq's fabled "weapons of mass destruction" did not exist, and that neocons within the administration fabricated them, lied about them and were ready to kill to cover up their deception.

I need to see this movie now.

lol
After reading all the comments, it does seem that it sure got all the neocons there to show there dislike..
"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"
my parents loved it
They called me afterwords and mentioned:
Vincent Bugliosi's book "The trial of George W. Bush for Murder"
I had read the book over a year ago and told them about it but, it took this movie to open their eyes to Bush.
Way to go Ebert and way to go Hollywood and way to go Matt Damon.
The "anti-American" comments about this movie
are very disturbing.
"anti-American?" ....watch Glenn Beck will start repeating this phrase with this movie as a launching pad.

You'll be shocked.
No wonder the Empire can get away
with perpetual wars; these comments show the people don't care (NIMBY) or identify themselves with the warmongers and can't see they are being duped and used.

One of the few times the users actually rate a movie LOWER than the critics. The illiterate neo-cons are throwing a temper tantrum.

Yeah, it's amazing how the neo-cons equate "being against the war" with "being against the soldiers"...
Or "being against the war" with "being against America".
It's so dumb.
Even the soldiers know what
Even the soldiers know what it really means to support them. One of my best friends is a soldier. While talking to him on the phone a while back I was saying "What better way to support our soldiers" and he quickly finished that sentence by adding on "than to bring them home."
"What better way to support our soldiers than to bring them home."
I get the feeling that at least some of them understand who really cares.

I went into it not knowing what to expect with some neocon buddies, they came out of it and went, "well that movie made us look like shit.."..
It was great to have them open their eyes to lies.

Just came back from seeing it. Very powerful movie. Go support it in theaters. As far as I'm concerned, its up there with Freedom to Fascism and other movies of the rEVOLution.

+1
over all, it is ironic to see "Green Zone" opening a distant second to "Alice in Wonderland" and being called a flop.

Wow! Sounds like Ebert knows quite a bit about what's going on. Just gained a little respect for him there.
