It was a COFFEE CLUB...nothing more, nothing less.
BUT...
As it went "over the heads" of those within the movement who make decisions and arrange fundraising ventures...so...the NWO picked up on it and used it against the movement by "Twisting" it into a PARTY.

When will those who we place in important positions within the movement be "savvy" enough to reconise opportunity whern it knocks ?

By the way...how has the "socialist" money bomb theme been working as of late ? Not so hot I know...cause folks are "gimme $$$" money bombed out.

I merely suggested it be called the "Coffee Campaign" as to not sound too exclusive.

I had never seen these words used here, or anywhere before.

I agree. Some folks need to realize that throwing money at something is not always going to help.
All it does is feed the MSM, that turns around and bites us, whenever they feel like it.

The only solutions I can see fighting for are.

1) Ending the Fed, and replacing it with a "We the People" solution, not the world bank, or the IMF. The Fed, and its partner entities, as well as AIPAC are at the core of corruption in this country.

2) Getting a transparent tangible voting system in place, so that we can be assured that our votes went to where they were supposed to.

3) Continuing to expose the lies told on 9/11, as that is the foundation from which all of our liberties have been stripped.
(those aren't lofty goals eh?)

TPTB must laugh, and wring their hands in delight when we raise 35+ million dollars, only to know that they will sick their attack dogs on us like Glennadicked Arnold, Anderson Crapper, Piss Mathews, Theif Olbermann, Shill O'Reilly, Geraldo, and the rest of the scum.

I watched Geraldo and his sidekick ho, attack some guy who was running against McStain the other night. It was the classic attack method that was used on RP, Medina, etc. He even mentioned Medina's name when he was attacking this guy for possibly being a "birther".

We have no choice other than to work smarter, not harder, as our finances will become even more strained in the future.

I tried to warn some people about this, and someone from here, privately tried to intimidate me, by email.

You can't keep sticking the collection plate under people's noses, without eventually burning them out.

Money is obviously necessary, but great creative ideas are in short supply. Too bad the presidency isn't based on some online poll. We'd have this thing in the bag. Unless of course someone hacked the results. Oh well...

Yes I do believe the idea was "original" as it was first proposed my me nearly 2 yrs. ago as a fundraising idea of the RP campaign. Ignored and then accused of "profiteering" ... or something like that...ha...ha.
* We sell our entire harvest and that of our neighbors every year...so we "do not" need new market.

As we are patriots and also coffee growers...we thought it was "logical" to offer the best bean at below market so the movement could drink the finist and support the movement an the candidates.

I then offered Michael the idea for funding DP...

Sad lack of vision and it is creating a funding crisis.
Between those who work to destroy us...and those who WON'T work to serve us...were in a real fix...

the "The Coffee Party" term was coined HERE at the DP. It was tweeted the next day to Alex Jones (so he says). I heard him mention it on his show, the following day, and I even commented on it here.

But just like the attempt by Republicans to co-opt the TEA Parties, it is no surprise to me that the Dems would grab 'our' good idea of The Coffee Party and try to co-opt it!
I personally think Obama co-opted the "hope and change" from Ron Paul supporters. Remember "Hope for America"? And the song by Marc Scibilia with the line, "Can you feel the coming Change? Though Hell is here today? Hope is on it's way!" ??

We have a lot in common with progressives and the more outspoken ones typically respect Ron Paul... we should have folks from DP who are tapped into firedoglake.com and other progressive resources and be ready to merge on issues that we truly can agree on...

In fact, I think this is Beck's and Fox's entire agenda, to drive a wedge between "conservatives" and "libertarians" within the tea party with his rants about progressives and now the 'social justice' churches... we have a lot in common with both and we need to express our solidarity with them and not be pressured into taking some sort of philosophical stance that would alienate us. I really think Beck's job is to hack off the RP, libertarian block from the more conservative tea party crowd, although to me this would seem counter-productive in a numerical sense....

I agree, whenever I debate with neo cons, and pro war conservatives its difficult to ever actually get to them as whatever I say just ends up with them calling me a liberal, communist, marxist, etc.....whereas progressives seem to be more rational.
