I hope his prediction is wrong. I can't imagine that, in the

If Iran is bombed, it's going to inflict
more collateral damage on Israel & US then we have seen in 10 years.
Bottom line.
Russia and China
Russia and China and several Eastern European countries and France have major economic deals with Iran. Iran is the #2 supplier of natural gas to the mentioned countries and is the #2 supplier of oil to the world.
In addition to dealing major blows to those already fragile economies they will be misted with nuclear fallout from both depleted uranium and from Iran's destroyed nuclear facilities.
It would take less than 15 minutes for Russia and China to take out both coasts of the US. Combined with a simultaneous massive ground and naval assault on our forces in the mideast and asia it would be game over for America.
Russia began doing regular almost daily long range nuclear bomber runs 3-4 years ago in the pacific and the atlantic for the first time since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Just this past week one of the bombers was escorted by 4 NATO jets in atlantic.
China has been popping up submarines unannounced and undetected right in the middle of US naval drills for several years now.

I don't think that it would be Russia
doing the nuking. China has the greater dependence on Iran's resources. Russia likes Iran as a military customer. China is not military target rich. Ergo, would we retaliate by taking out Chinese cities ala Hiroshima, Nagasaki? I don't think so. We would be paralyzed.

Iran has the #2 largest oil deposits in the world and the #2 largest natural gas deposits in the world.
Although Russia has large natural gas deposits Iran sells natural gas to Russia cheaper than Russia can make it and resells the natural gas to Europe. Europe is hugely dependent on Russian natural gas supplies.
Part of the Iranian/Russian natural gas deal is that Iran has very little oil refining capability and Russia refines oil for them cheaply as part of the natural gas deal.
Iran sells natural gas and other minerals to many countries including France, easter european countries and India and China.
Also, Iran imports large quantities of electronics and consumer goods from India, China and Europe. And exports goods to them also.
An attack on Iran will be very very disruptive of the already weakened economies of Europe and Asia. Besides the fact that an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities would mist the entire region in nuclear fallout in addition to radioactive contanimation from DU weaponry.
