anybody else just lose access to google?

I can still get around but I cannot use google.

I was wondering if it was local or bigger.

They have been prompting me to allow them to track my location and I haven't consented yet.

I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Any comments?

instead and use their "Scroogle Scraper". Excellent site! Seems to be run by libertarians - excellent comics on their start page. A way for you to use google without being tracked. After two days, search records deleted.

If not, try another search engine and see what happens. I think the one on msn.com is bing, not google.

like all internet services, goes down from time to time. Due to DoS or just network device outages. Has been doing it forever in my experience and i've been surfing the tubes since 93.

What rhino is talking about is not a problem with the service,It actually asks if it is OK to triangulate your physical location by wireless sources.It scared the hell out of me,luckily there are no wireless services in my rural location.

By "internet service" I don't mean ISP, I mean like in a service provided over the internet. Daily Paul is a service.

I wouldn't think Google would require cellular geo-location in order to access search. But stranger things have happened.

and informed me that someone was trying to request my location,so I clicked on "more"and it explained that someone was wanting to triangulate my physical location using wireless services.But it would not give me an option to find out who.it was not my ISP it was someone using a google service.

and it never happened before,It happened within minutes of making a comment about the service that collects the taxes using the capital three letter acronym right after the incident in Tx.Was really weird.and they tried several more times that day.
