for the bump. This was a good interview, but the You Tube has been removed by the user.

Liberty is on the march, tyranny is on the run!

Be on the lookout for a new prohibition

coming to the states.

There are products out that contain a synthetic that produce the same effects as THC. K2 is the one getting hit hard by the media, and the prohibition bills are popping up everywhere.

No matter what you think of the substances, we need to fight prohibitions.

I almost have ours beat down here in my state. One more week and I will know for sure.

If anyone sees a problem arise in their state, please let me know and I can try to help advise you on what to do about it. It is hard work and you need to organize a little but it can be done.

Let's try to stave off a new prohibition so we can lift some old ones too!

...I don't do it...but I say LEGALIZE IT...

Since everyone on DP (or nearly so) agrees that the War on Drugs

is counter-intuitive to liberty; what's up with the OP Thread?

They were not filmed at the same time or on the same show, so why are they linked here?

Also, there are a lot of political folk who are far more in line with RP's media-presence and beliefs then Jesse; who are also in-line with anti-drug laws (or marijuana legalization), so why Jesse?

I think it's a Truther "link" that should not be made.

Jesse is damaging to all RP-Candidates and to RP-2012 (if he should run).

We lost a lot of precious time last year trying to explain that most of RP's followers were not Truthers.

A truther is not a person who just wants "truth" over 911. A truther is relentless and will put all other goals (priorities) in 2nd place to "revenge and justice" over 911.

It's like the difference between a Christian who worships quietly and one who comes to your door.

All that being said -- I like Jesse, there is an attractive quality and presence to him; but that's secondary to his crazy look and kooky mannerisms he uses to get attention.

His agenda is conspiracy theories (proving them) and RP's is Liberty and one does not beget the other (necessarily).

“We have allowed our nation to be over taxed and over regulated and overrun by bureaucrats, the founders would be ashamed of us for what we're putting up with.” Ron Paul

The War on Drugs is counter

The War on Drugs is counter productive. It creates criminals and costs the taxpayers billions of dollars each year. The War on Drugs does not stop drugs coming into this country or prevent its use. What is the point of the War on Drugs? I have an opinion but I have no proof so I will not go there. The fact is the drug issue should be a State issue whether you are for legalizing drugs or not. The voters in each State should make that decision.

Taking the issue away from the federal government would allow farmers to grow industrial hemp. As most of us know, industrial hemp is one of the most valuable cash crops a farmer can grow because of the many uses for the product. One of the many benefits of industrial hemp is by cultivating hemp less trees would be used for paper products, etc. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemp

10 reasons why the war on drugs is wrong

1. It's easier for kids to get illegal substances than alcohol and tobacco.

2. History...Alcohol prohibition was a disaster

3. It implies that government owns our bodies

4. Prevents American farmers from growing industrial hemp, an incredibly useful product and also a powerful source for bio fuels

5. The only people that oppose legalization are Drug Cartels, Big Pharma, and those who wish to control others through government force

6. It costs us 360 billion dollars a year and does not change the percentage of drug use in society

7. Alcohol and tobacco are far more dangerous than marijuana and they are actually subsidized at our expense.

That's all I got for now

please add some more

Another big benefit by

Another big benefit by legalizing psychoactive Hemp would be the ability for the american farmer to grow Industrial Hemp.
Right now the DEA is able to use the excuse that they can't tell the difference between pshychoactive Hemp and Industrial Hemp so people would be growing psychoactive Hemp in amongst Industrial Hemp.
Lame excuse, but that what they say.

"How can we justify to the unemployed and underemployed in the United States the incredible cost of maintaining a global empire?" - Dr. Ron Paul

40 Billion a year is way too low

I estimate 360 billion once you add up all the local state and federal- legal fees, court cost, police cost, drug testing cost, prison cost, Lost wages cost, lost kids, lost property, lost revenue- you get the picture. It's not even about pot it's about money and another excuse to dismantle the constitution.

Government is supposed to protect our freedom, our property, our privacy, not invade it. Ron Paul 2007

Don't forget the pain!

What really bothers me are the people who are suffering because they cannot get medical marijuana for their cancer and pain and are forced to take expensive, addictive and dangerous narcotics like Oxycontin and Morphine that have horrible side effects including horrific weight loss. It is a shame that so many people are ignorant about the miracle drug that is marijuana.

Jesse,, sorry but 1 thing you

Jesse,, sorry but 1 thing you are wrong about.. the mexican cartels do not get their weapons from the US.. The cartels are so rich they can buy guns from all over the world. They are using fully automatic weapons aolong with rocket propelled grenades etc.. they didn't get those from the US. Why give the gun grabbling liberal idiots ammunition to further restrict firearms here?

“Defiance of God’s Law will eventually bring havoc to a society.” - Dr. Ron Paul

Tangent.

Isn't that a tangent?

I don't get the point of the source of the guns. Who cares? The point is the criminals are powerful, and even don't appear to be afraid of their own gov't.

Pretty cool clips! Ron looks very presidential.

For an informed citizenry, individuals must discard the television set in favor of the acquisition of information via either books and/or the internet. An uneducated populous will remain in ignorance and thus continue to suffer the sharp ax of tyranny.
