Now that I got your attention -

I want to share some thoughts with you Daily Paul members.
Since early morning I was closely observing what is going on this site.
I was noting who is online who bumps activist posts and who comments on silly off topic unimportant and dividing ones.

Conclusion -
The activist posts were mostly dormant unless I gave them some life with a comment.
The most important post at the very top of the front page got one comment from it's creator Michael Nystrom and two comments from me - that's all up until I gave it yet another comment-bump which resulted up until this moment in finally the first donation(YAL Money Bomb).

YAL patriotic Americans I am sorry that you have to indure seeing this apathy coming from the very heart of the rEVOLution which is Daily Paul website.
I am sorry you will not be able to spread the word on College campuses and University grounds because of lack of funding.
You are the most passionate dedicated people in America today and you don't deserve this treatment!
As I Salute your efforts I hope you will be able to get funds from somewhere - perhaps CFL can give you another donation of 25,000$ as it did last year.

Every Money Bomb every single activist action direct activist action brings us all closer to Liberty.
You have a clear choice you either keep these words in your hearts and act or you hmmm what is the name of that big bird that likes to keep it's head buried in the sand?

And all this after a 10% pay cut.....

guess what.

I think we need a new fund raising strategy cause I know I'm not alone here.

This MONEY BOMB stuff has completely jumped the shark. I am so money bombed out I could blow up.

Sorry...just my opinion....

It was really cool when Ron Paul was running and the meter was going up and up and up from all the donations...I am totally with you on that....unfortunately is just doesn't seem to have that luster...

We may have overplayed that hand

I think it's time for a fresh approach. I'm just not smart enough to come up with it.

Dear friend of Liberty

I fully understand your personal situation prevents you at the present moment from contributing funds.
But your activism on Daily Paul commenting on important threads spreading the word and educating people is as good as gold!

The other night I had a dream -
there was an American Native man perhaps from Navaho tribe who stood above me as I was on my knees he placed his hands on top of my head I put my arms around his legs and asked is this the Holy Spirit? his eyes told me the answer...

NEVER give up my friend!

It is up to us to keep the faith in our mission - and our mission is to elect every Liberty candidate that runs for high office.

Moneybombs bomb

We all have obligations and are burned out. We do the best we can. There are higher priorities for some than others.

I do, agree, however that topics seem to be the same day in and day out and anything posted that deviates quickly disappears into oblivion. I still find some very useful information on the DailyPaul but what I try to post, which is not a lot but very relevant, quickly disappears below the Alex Jones, 911, Israel, etc. etc. posts.

I am worried about Trevor Lyman's Peace Blimp Money Bomb on March 20th he is such a beautiful hard working soul...I exchanged a few heart warming emails with him in recent days and I got to know him and his trials hardships and pains.

Alex Jones 911 Israel posts are flooding DP and it's not healthy for the site...but I guess it's the free market of opinions...

LOS ANGELES—An earthquake east of downtown Los Angeles rippled across Southern California before dawn Tuesday, jolting millions of people awake and putting first-responders on alert but causing no damage, injuries or power outages.

The magnitude-4.4 quake, centered about 10 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, struck shortly after 4 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

"It was a shake, but not bad. Our inmates slept through it and we had a few calls, but not as many as you would think," Pico Rivera sheriff's station Sgt. Jacqueline Sanchez said. Deputies were immediately dispatched to check on bridges and dams, she said.

Los Angeles County Fire Department supervising dispatcher Andre Gougis said there were no reports of damage or injury and the department was at normal operations.

Mr. Gougis said the quake was felt as his east Los Angeles headquarters.

"There was an initial jolt, then mild shaking after that," he said.

Though the quake was considered small in size, it was felt over a large swath of Southern California. People from San Bernardino County to the east and Santa Monica, about 25 miles to the west, reported feeling it.

These are unicode block characters. Pick a category, like geometric shapes, then click List without images, and copy the characters you want. Not all browsers support all blocks of unicode, however. Just most.

I know view counts are possible on DP because they were here for about 10 hours after the site was re-launched a few months ago. I'm not sure the logic behind them being removed.

I would think it would be built in. I a running total was posted beside each topic in the active list, it could be helpful and interesting.

Or kids could think of ways to pay for things on their own

I'm 23 and work 3 jobs in school to pay for it. I've helped rewrite courses I've taken and laid seeds for proper economics courses to grow in the right places.

If the problem is money, perhaps the approach is wrong. It is the year 2010. While cars don't yet fly, ideas do, faster than ever.

As for the site, well, most interesting to me is how little it has changed despite these repeat ruminations. Bumping is archaic.

We have a rating system only visible on the article. (and the front page) What's up with that? Why isn't it at least visible for each in the Active Forum Topics? What if there were more AFTs? To answer that question, try out my # below. I made it get rating data too, but noticed it slowed the site down, so I stopped.

shouldn't the Daily Paul be renamed the "Daily Census Lover and Protector"? Who cares that they used the information to round up Japanese and throw them into camps and then lied about it for 46 years. We should simply make every post in the front page.."Don't worry about the census, they are the government and we're..oops..I mean they are here to help"..or something Alex Jones related..or something "don't censor Israel" related...that's about all I have seen for the past few days.

Where is the chicken thread for heavens sake?..LOL
