"The core group came to the consensus that we would get a permit for the first weeks to set Camp up and establish a presence.

We need as many people to come to Camp OUT NOW as possible that first week and thereafter so we can demonstrate that there is a will for the Camp to remain active.

Having said all that, I personally do not believe in permits as I believe in my civil rights to free speech and to peaceably gather to petition our government for redress of wrongs--many of the core group also have these personal feelings, but put them briefly aside for the common good.

Camp is going to rock and this time we will be victorious--there's no other option."
