For example, the last quote from the Trends Research Institute is from Gerald Celente, who is a vociferous critic of the neocons, and he's one of the most accurate trend forecasters in the world and a friend to the liberty movement.
As far as the false-flag criticism, do neocons talk about formal declarations of war, letters of marque & reprisal? Do they say we should preserve civil liberties even if attacked? Do they preach against torture? Do they even mention the record suicide rates & PTSD epidemic in the military? Do they talk about the debt these wars have created. Do they talk about limiting presidential war powers? NO!
Thomas, even Ron Paul and other top liberty people have argued time and time again that we are more likely to be attacked again because of our foreign policy. That's not fear mongering. It's a basic consequence of occupying foreign countries all the time, and it makes us less safe.
The pledge is taking Ron Paul's and other liberty scholars' predictions and asking us to be prepared to offer a pro constitution, pro fiscal conservative, and pro morality solution.
So, if another attack occurs, God forbid, we will have sent a message to our government: Don't use "national security" as an excuse to take away all our civil liberties, run up the debt, send our men and women to countless wars, torture prisoners, and sacrifice our morality.

I watched some of the survivor videos yesterday,
as they documented evidence and made an effort for the truth, only to be stonewalled by Congress and the press.
So sad and so depressing! They want recognition and dignity for their loved ones, they want the TRUTH to be told.

I'd want the police to investigate the crime
instead of destroying the crime scene, putting my remains in the landfill, and shipping the evidence to China to be melted down. Also, it'd be nice if the people investigating the crime would interview all the witnesses, and not undermine the investigation.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a branch of government -- anywhere -- that wasn't afraid to step on the toes of other branches of government, and conduct an honest investigation, no matter where it leads? But we don't.
Five men indisputably had foreknowledge of the 9-11 attack. Google "dancing Israelis" and read about them. They were arrested, questioned, and released to return to Israel, on orders from Michael Chertoff (Secretary of Homeland Security under Bush, and co-author of the Patriot Act.) Meanwhile hundreds of totally innocent people who happened to be of Middle Eastern extraction were arrested, sent to Guantanamo, held for years without trial, tortured, and sometimes murdered.
Clearly our government had little interest in determining what actually happened -- but great interest in framing "Islamic radicals" for the crime.
It won't be any different next time, no matter what petitions are signed. The government has its own agenda, and will use events to further that agenda, never mind what the peasants think.
