John Dennis is being attacked for his principled defense of a non-interventionist foreign policy by his Neo-Con primary opponent. Dana Walsh put out this website - http://johndennisexposed.com/ - and is hitting the conservative SF airwave(s) promoting her neo-con bs while painting John as a liberal.
John is going to stay positive and on message, but he needs our help. John's website will soon have a Vets for Dennis tab, and we need your submissions, tell us why you as a Vet (I'll be there too!) support John and non-interventionism - a picture in uniform would be great, and if you could make just a 15 second video too of you saying your name, rank and branch(past and present) and your support of John Dennis, that would be awesome!

The anti-war crowd is a boost
The anti-war crowd is a boost for Dennis, if they can see past Pelosi's lies. Once they realize she really is as much of a hawk as Bush/Cheney, they will flock to the anti-war candidate, John Dennis.
But Pelosi's asswhoopin' is coming later in the General. Let's get him the nomination first.

I just want to add my comment on this. It is our intervention in foreign nations that has brought on the terrorist attack of 11 September. Bombing and invading other nations does not make us safer, it makes us more likely to be attacked.
We can thank our NeoCon politicians for the terrorism we have experienced. We can thank them for the indignities they have put on airline passengers. And we can thank them for the erosion of the Bill of Rights.
I agree with Teddy Roosevelt: Speak softly and carry a big stick. That means, don't go looking for trouble, and be prepared. The NeoCons can't wait to get us involved in another war.
And in typical Chicken Hawk style, it is always someone else' blood they are anxious to spill.

It's political suicide to be seen as a neo con in California. Man! Walsh is painting himself as a neo con hawk by complaining about Dennis' anti war stance.

You're right though, the pro-war stance will definitely not go over well in the Bay Area. The best result would be if the health care bill doesn't pass and Pelosi is shown the door.

First, thanks for the heads up.
Second, I like the the vet idea, but can one talk politics while in uniform, I thought they couldn't?
Also how big is that anti-Dennis site (in terms of traffic)? How much of a threat is it? Should we be feeding the troll site with hits and comments or just ignore it and do what we can to help John?

I'm concentrating on the economics..
To sway Reaganites...
along this line - The precarious economic state of our nation due to our deficit, debt, and government largess. It is imperative we elect strict fiscal conservatives who believe in limited government where ever possible - to me it trumps all other issues. If the federal government continues on the path it's on, it won't matter if you believe the war on terror needs to be aggressively waged with every available tool, because we simply won't have the money to fight it.
What happens if our dollar/economy does collapse? - a very real reality in our current situation, what will happen to all those military personnel stationed overseas? They will suffer the humiliation of a defeat without a shot being fired. This happened to the Soviet troops serving in satellite countries, they were starving and unable to get home. Our brave men and women in uniform deserve better than that.
That is why I support John Dennis and his non-intervionist foreign policy, we can't afford anything more than his strict fiscal conservatism at this time.
