Apparently Michelle ran afoul of the Illinois State Bar and asked to have her law license withdrawn before she could be disbarred for Ethics violations

I'm pretty sure not. She just went 'inactive' when she stopped
practicing law. I looked at that before. I'm admitted in Illinois, myself, and that is the correct process if you don't want to continue to pay fees.

um, ok, I read your link after I wrote that, but I would be hesitant to accept Y/A poster without link on this.
Mind you, there is still the question of how they got their house and side yard which astounds me how anyone who took ethics in law school could have gotten involved in.

Michelle.
I this country we are taught from an early age that the first lady should be someone to look up to. A roll model if you will. How does that play out the. When you graduate from Harvard with A Doctorates in Law and within 4 years of that degree your asked to either give the practice of law or be disbarred. Its like Hillary all over again. They should all be held to I higher standard don't you think? That's my other point.
Thanks for asking.
Sorry ...
Not interested.
I wish you well on your journey.
