I don't Trust Mitt Romney
or any of the Republican candidates that is eying for 2012 Republican nomination (except for Ron Paul of course). The way things are going in this country I wonder if we will even get to have another national election. This could be getting more interesting as time goes on.

I believe Mitt is the Republican candidate for 2012. He'll be
backed by McCain, Scott Brown and Sarah Palin of course. I just hope sheeple will be awake enough by then to see through the COG ruse. Great job, Southern Avenger.

this man's 'true religion' is neo-conservativism--
just as Zionists who claim to be Jews and are really, also, just 'members' of the religion of neo-conservativism.
it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--
this man is either pathetically naive, deluded--
or he has a hidden agenda. I suspect the hidden agenda. He's a wealthy man. I don't find it difficult to see that he has 'sold out'; globalism is better for Mitt Romney and other wealthy men whose sons don't have to fight in wars.
It's obvious that empire has been good to him--
he's not a statesman (wise or otherwise); he is a businessman, and for his business war is obviously good--
He's no different from Bush. As an anti-war Christian, I will do everything in my power to expose this man's real agenda--

I couldn't find Romney's sons....
.... in Iraq or Afghanistan. Where was Romney during the Vietnam war? He should put his money where is mouth is, and contribute his personal wealth to the war effort. Sending his sons and grandsons to the front would also demonstrate a true commitment to his warped idea of America's greatness. As a Mormon, he also believes that Jesus will set up His headquarters in Missouri! As for an angel giving Joseph Smith a tablet to translate into the language of the old King James English, it is as far-fetched as Romney's own misguided beliefs. The fact that the GOP has to look to folk like McCain, Romney and Giuliani for their "salvation" is proof of the party's bankruptcy.

Hey jackass, why do you have to bring religion into this? If you believe the Bible to be true then the Joseph Smith's story is not at all crazy when compared to the Bible. The Bible contains more freaky stuff than what Joseph Smith talked about. Leave Mormons out of this. Besides, statistically they are a more moral, hard working and liberty minded people than their other religious brethren.

There are plenty of godless people masquerading as Christians (or other religions; some of *us* have worked hard on DP to point out the difference between Zionists and 'real' Jews)--
he is not about the specifics of his religion any more than any other designing man/woman is about the specifics of his/her particular religion. The best of DP is that religion is not assigned as an excuse or a blame--
a man/woman's religion is imprinted on his/her heart, not on his/her words--or professions of belief.

It looks like the GOP old guard are going for broke come 2012. As far as I know, Rush is backing Romney. As are many other of the current GOP big voices.
Talk about paddling upstream. The one issue that more than anything is scaring voters away from the Dems, is opposition to government run health care. While Romney's claim to fame, is passing exactly that kind of bill in MA. And he's not even attempting to make excuses for it, by referring to MA being a liberal state and such.
Similarly, the one issue that more than anything drove those same voters to Obama in '08, was the incessant warmongering by GOP bigwigs.
The level of myopia required to chose a guy so completely at odds with the voting public, on both the two defining issues of the day, is staggering. I'm almost starting to believe the whole current GOP establishment are heading straight off the cliff.
With a solid victory in Kentucky, It'd almost be tempting to see Rand attempting to pull an Obama, and basically use his senate seat as a springboard for the presidency.
