I am going to disable this intolerable thread and block rhino. That's it.

I've basically had it getting hammered for trying to do what I think I ought to do.

I'm sure someone will start another thread to keep this seemingly never ending topic going.

rhino - I really don't know what to make of your comments sometimes.

of why I have disliked the person who made it, for so long. I have instinctively known their intentions, and they are becoming more obvious by the day.

Here is a quote from rhino.

I capitalized the word "filth", so it would stand out better.

Now you have this person trying to suck up to "Quiltingsando", acting like they didn't mean to call her "filth", as they know she is a well respected member of the community here.

Quiltingsando, is a good example of a regular person, who has been doing whatever she could to try and help in whatever way she could, with what she had.
She has volunteered her particular talents, to be able to auction off items to raise money for the DP, or candidates.

I have watched QS over the years, learn and grow, and even have those "ahah" moments when the light bulb went off over her head.

She has no particular agenda, other than trying to make sense of all of this, and do what she could to help. She is one of my favorite posters here, and is often the voice of reason.

Now, because she has dared to ask questions related to a now seemingly taboo subject, she is lumped in with the rest of the "filth", that supposedly darkens the DP.

We are at a dangerous, pivotal moment for the DP.

We have a small minority, that is using the techniques of individuals like Joseph McCarthy, Glenn Beck, Mark Davis, and Ben Stein. They have no intellectual recourse for some of the points that are brought forward here, so they resort to name calling, and try to manipulate, and shame people into submission.

They, along with the MSM, are trying to create an atmosphere of fear, and shame for daring to question certain subjects, that very well may be at the heart of our demise.

We as a country, are on the edge of a possible world war. Our economy is on the brink of collapse. Our very lifestyles are in danger of being radically changed, possibly forever.

The Daily Paul has been place for many to come and share things related to all sorts of subjects, many related to restoring Constitutional Govt., many related to mere survival, in the absence of Constitutional Govt.

The reality is this. We have always been called "Pauliacs", "Paultards","Ron Paul people","cockroaches","kooks","freaks","wackjobs",
"conspiracy theorists","truthers","birthers", and every other insulting name in the book, designed to try and marginalize us, and push our ideas out of the way, in favor of a blood lusting, warmongering policy based on the lies of 9/11.

Now, some of us, are being called "FILTH" by someone who claims to be part of our ranks. This person is no different from the ones who try and silence us, with other blatant shameful titles.

This person says they are "here to be judged".

Well, I am here to pass judgment, since they welcomed it.

The person who created this thread, and has been behind most of the flaps that have been caused here related to content, is the one who needs to go. These subjects have never really been an issue, until this person starts beating their drum calling people,"freaks", "whackjobs", "bigots","whores","nuts","filth" and a variety of other things designed to try and shame everyone into the direction of discussion that THEY would like them to go in.

They are dangerous in the sense that they pretend to be "one of us" yet systematically, subtly, and sometimes not so subtly, try on shut people up, regarding discussions that may very well lead to a better knowledge, and understanding of the sources of our problems.

They are also dangerous in the sense, of now having had some sort of influence on the owner, and in turn some of the mods that will do whatever the owner says. Now it seems like the owner, has cratered to the pressure this individual,and other individuals, as well as the MSM has been putting on.

When the owner craters to this kind of pressure, and allows these types to win, other people will leave in frustration.
I am not saying that the owner has bad intentions. To the contrary, I believe he is doing what he thinks is right, and I respect that. He has been honest about his intentions, and as I have said, I respect the position that he is in. I respectfully believe he is being manipulated in this case.

The truth is, the the DP, is but a small fraction of the voting population. It is not going to win elections for anyone. It is not going to stop any wars, or agendas that have been in place for a very long time. It can certainly be a vehicle to help, but it will not be the deciding factor.
If you believe otherwise, then you are sadly mistaken.
Let's look at the numbers for a second. Let's say that there are generously 100,000 people that come to the DP on a regular basis.
What percentage is that of the roughly, 1.2 million that voted for RP?
What percentage of the roughly 122,394,724 people that voted in 2008, is that?

Now, an even smaller microscopic percentage, of our already small percentage, wants to call us names, and try to shut us up, and ruin the very nature of why so many of us come here.

It is obvious from the OP, that the C4L, and RPF, was also a target of this hush campaign.
I frankly never visited the C4L site very much. I have donated a hell of a lot of money to them, but never took part in their forum, as the format seemed bland, and uninteresting.
The same can be said for RP Forums. I never visited there either, because their format was so unappealing to the eye.
I always assumed that these sites were somewhat sterile, regarding controversial subjects, but apparently they are not sterile enough, to become targeted by those who wish to silence us.

So in closing, there will always be something dug up, to try and discredit this movement, whether it be now, or in 2012.
There will always be those that use certain techniques to try and marginalize, and stifle discussion of subjects that could be at the core of our demise.
I say it is a time to stand tall for the truth, however ugly it may be, and to question the motives of those who wish to silence us.
Why would they want to silence us? Is it really because they "CARE about us, and the movement"?
Or, is it because we have become dangerously close to finding out the truth, of what has been behind the destruction of this once great nation? The man behind the curtain, so to speak.
I say it is because of the latter, and it is time to CUT THE REAL CANCER out of this movement, and move forward boldly.
That cancer has made themselves plainly obvious in this OP, and over the last few years.
That cancer if allowed to spread, is going to run off, many great thinkers, and posters that have added so much to the discussion here.
We are already a small minority, and to let an even smaller minority, that has infiltrated our camp, to divide us even further, is a disservice to to the cause of understanding, and the taking of action related to that understanding.
So I ask you, who is the real "filth" here?

Is it the people that boldly question subjects, that could be at the core of our demise?
Or is it people like McCarthy, Beck, Stein, and rhino, that use manipulation to try and shame you for asking legitimate questions?

Are you going to be shamed, or scared into submission, or are you going to speak out, expose, and stand against those, that wish to manipulate us into silence?
