Stephen I just have to say even though I understand what you're saying that this is a sad compromise for Rand to take. He could have stopped at strong national defense and left Iran and Guantanamo out of it. It really discredits him with the libertarian crowd. Now how does he undo this? Bad juju. I'm sure Rand and Ron talk frequently, and there was probably a cognizant decision for Ron to keep on carrying the anti-war message, while Rand, in his freshman effort, would focus solely on fiscal/financial policy.
if you haven't seen the attacks on Rand, painting him as a pacifist, and a kook, and EXACTLY like his father, then you wouldn't understand the context of these rebuttal ads.
