Anybody else feeling the evil vibes coming from Washington?
Submitted by greatscott on Sat, 03/20/2010 - 23:44I think it is fair to say that ObamaCare is a done deal. Is anyone else feeling dispair? This sums it perfectly how I feel, like the American GI in the movie mini series "Band of Brothers" where the American and the German soldiers struggle each other over a knife. The German soldier was previously captured, but then released by Tom Hanks and the German soldier ends up sticking the knife into the American GI telling the soldier to be quiet and accpet his fate quietly.
I feel like Obama and the Communists are stabbing us with that knife and telling us to shut up and just accept it. My state is one of many who has pending legislation to nullify ObamaCare. I am sure that my state is doing this an s a dog and pony show to keep us quiet. I feel so helpless. Well, I recently volunteered to be a volunteer for a Ron Paul like, libetarian minded lady running on the Republican ticket for the primary. I hope I am sucesssful in helping her beat the RINO who has the backing of the RNC and supporets Immigration reform.
Ahhhh, I am so angry. There is Immigration reform and more bailouts to come.

Greater taxes, government control of medicine, ID cards, debt based monetary system, Social Security, FDA, licensing, government ownership/control of education, Patriot Act, endless wars, etc., etc., etc.
As long as the idiotic public sees the political battles as Republican vs. Democrat or left vs. right, the march toward complete subjugation will continue. The real battle is freedom vs. slavery, and it is government which institutes slavery as you are witnessing. A free society would have closer to 5% of the government we presently have.
Unfortunately, those who advocate freedom are a small group compared to those who advocate government management and control.

It doesn't make you a RINO if you are for immigration reform, I am for amnesty and easier access for citizenship, but that does not make me a communist. And ObamaCare is not communist it is corporatism at it's finest.
I agree
Let them in to work, produce, consume, and prosper. They are not a threat. Our government policies that provide free stuff to illegal immigrants and legal citzens alike are the problem.
What about letting Americans
What about letting Americans into Mexico to work and start businesses and buy land? Why should the US always open up for everyone and everything without reciprocal agreements with other countries? Just try to get a job as a non-Mexican national in Mexico - forget it! There could be a lot of opportunity for Americans in places like Mexico and it would help development in 2nd and 3rd world countries if they gave equal treatment to American ex patriots and investors as we give to their citizens.
I have no problem with the idea of allowing other citizens to seek opportunities in our country (without social services) if they would extend the same opportunity to our people.

will frame immigration through the new universal health id card required for all citizens and non-citizens, which will also become the new universal worker id for all citizens and non-citizens, which will effectively be instant amnesty.
Which will tie in perfectly with the U.S. Real ID Act of 2005 which mandates that all citizens of the US, Mexico, Canada and the Carribean be given digital id cards of a common design that connect into a single unified North American computer network and database.
