Establishment GOP Asks TARP LOBBYIST DAN COATS To Move Back To Indiana And Abandon Vacation Home In NC; HOSTETTLER Still Leads
UPDATE: INDIANA US SENATE RACE
Apparently the national GOP establishment is now in full panic mode over the open US Senate seat (vacated by Evan Bayh) in Indiana.
Seems that the national GOP tried to get several big name Republicans to run for the seat early on but no one wanted to take on former congressman John Hostettler of the Tea Party / Liberty movement in the Republican Primary.
Mike Pence, a supposed 2012 presidential contender, talk show host, and US Congressman from Columbus, Indiana told the GOP establishment that he didn't want any part of this fight after taking a weekend to consider it.
As a last resort big time TARP and Chrysler Lobbyist and former US Senator Dan Coats (currently registered to vote in Virginia) decided to abandon his Washington Lobbying firm and forethcoming transition to his North Carolina vacation home in order to return to Indiana to run in this race.

But now its apparent that Coats can not win and its far too late for anyone else to submit signatures to get on the Republican Primary ballot.
Problem: Dan Coats served as a lobbyist for Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Chrysler.
John Hostettler (the Ron Paul 2008 supporter / voter) is leading in this race a full month after Dan Coats decided to jump in.

definitely has my support. Glad to see he is leading in the polls because Rand is going need all the help he can get in the Senate.

This is one of those races we can win; and we need to win it.
We win if Dan Coats looses. And Hostettler is a decent man who has the endorsement of Gun Owners of America.
Dan Coats on the other hand has promoted global warming legislation and "Cap And Trade" AKA "Emissions Trading" as a way to benefit his multinational corporate special interests.
Specifically he represented Chinese bio-fuels investor and billionaire Julian Robertson in his hedge fund trading to make energy much more expensive in the United States through Cap And Trade and new environmental regulations.
