Jesse Ventura would support Mayor Bloomberg for president in 2012.

In what is a great reminder to the Liberty Movement to curb its enthusiasm for pundits who share some of our perspectives, Jesse Ventura has said in an interview that he would support anti-freedom crusador Bloomberg for President if he ran third party.

"NJNR: What are your thoughts on the Minnesota Independence party backing Mayor Bloomberg for president in 2012?

JV: He's a bright man. He's done an outstanding job here in N.Y. to the best of my knowledge. I mean New Yorkers would know better than me. Whenever I come here it seems he's done a great job with the city. If he runs as a true independent he gets my full support because I don't vote for Democrats or Republicans. I refuse to vote for them and I encourage everyone else in this country to do the same. The problem with these two political parties is that they put the party before the country. At the very least this shows great ignorance or mental laziness. The freedom movement deserves people who know the constitution, who know who the enemies of freedom are and who won't support candidates based on which political party they run on.

And while I've defended him on many occasions, he simply doesn't know enough (or isn't honest enough) to be regarded as someone worthy of financial or political backing from believers in liberty.

Comrade Bloomberg? Jeez, I'd rather he back Hillary.

Jesse Ventura is proving himself to be someone attaching themselves to our movement for his own gain. He obviously does not know much about many many issues and seems willingly blind to accept someone as long as they have an I next to their name ... it's the same crap we have been fighting against ... being an independent is not even good ... ITS ABOUT THE MESSAGE! damn it!
