TEA PARTY HIJACK.

Just look at all the average republicans jumping on the Tea Party movement.

CASE IN POINT; Palin (a full on republican NEO-CON) is trying to equate McCain with the Tea Party movement by stumping for both on consecutive days last week.

And she had the gall to tell this much more conservative movement that they would have to choose one of the 2 major parties soon.

Too bad the Tea Party doesn't declare itself a bona-fide 3rd Party to challenge the other 2 corrupt organizations.

But ultimately they will be absorbed into the republican party and then they'll all vote for the Romney/Palin or Palin/Romney ticket in 2012.

Mark my word.

BY THE WAY...ISN'T IT TIME THE MEDIA ACKNOWLEDGE RON PAUL SUPPORTERS AS THE CREATORS OF THE ORIGINAL TEA PARTY IDEA IN 2007???

NEVER EVEN A MENTION OF DR. PAUL AT THESE EVENTS ANYMORE - ANOTHER SIGN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS CONTROLLING THIS DE-FANGED MOVEMENT NOW.

Let THEM have the Teaparty.

Let THEM have the Teaparty. They've already polluted the tea. We have what we've always had. The Ron Paul r3VOLution. It is what brought most of us together. The teaparty we had on Dec 16th, 2007 was just one day. Let the r3VOLution continue.

Or as 13hour put it below:

"I am not a Tea Party person
I am a Paulite, and very proud of it
I have a leader, and mentor
We have had our tea parties, rallies, music, Blimps
They will dissolve and destroy the Tea Party label because they have no core.
My core is Ron Paul
That is why his name never gets mentioned,
Peace"

Right-O "Frankmcs"

They HAVE polluted the tea indeed!

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

This is trivial, but I'll bet

This is trivial, but I'll bet a case of beer it will be Rick Perry-Sarah Palin in 2012 on the Republican Ticket.

There is no Left or Right -- there is only freedom or tyranny. Everything else is an illusion, an obfuscation to keep you confused and silent as the world burns around you." - Philip Brennan

"Invest only in things that you can stand in front of and pr

I'll take that bet.

It's going to be Mitt Romney/Sarah Palin.

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

Somewhat of a long shot GreatScott...

Palin will be on there but a bigger neo-con name will be at the top of the ticket---Maybe even McCain again.

But most likely the socialist neo-con Romney.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

That would be horrible. If

That would be horrible. If Obama gets reelected or a neocon ticket like that gets elected, America is going to be in for a long 2010's.

I will mark your word if you mark mine

The Tea Party will become a third party and it will split the republican vote to allow Obama a smooth glide for a second term. I've been saying for a long time, it's the "bull-moose" stunt all over again.

I could only DREAM THAT WE

I could only DREAM THAT WE WOULD SPLIT THE VOTE, or simply stay at home and cause the Republican Party to lose by a landslide.

This will be proof positive that more people:

-are voting their conscience
-seeing the big picture
-seeing through the false paradigm

And we will be closer to forcing the hand of the mainstream Republican Party to shift to a more constitutional, Paulian outlook.

-the leadership we support will play more prominent roles
-they'll get more air time
-we can begin to start steering the titanic, right now we're just yelling the warnings. we help the republican mainstream party lose solidly at the national level has so many win-wins about it. i salivate at the idea.

I hope you are right. But sadly, I don't think it will happen. The Republican Party as badly as it was injured has been granted a miracle in the form of Barack Obama.

I call it a miracle, but in reality, it's just part of the same ole same ole that's been going on for decades. It wasn't an accident, it's completely planned, each party inflames the others constituents on que, as a deliberate move to lock in loyalty. These guys in D.C. , they work together, they dine together, they play together, and it's
Manus Manum Lavat or Quid Pro Quo all day every day 24/7/365.

No. I'm afraid the demonization of Obama guarantees a Republican victory, and a lot of fence sitting RINOs in training, who might have been ready to give us a look, will decide that it's prudent to give the "new" Republican administration a chance. There goes 4 more years...

it's a cycle.

They take turns, every 4 to 8 years. Want something different? Break the cycle.

Easiest way to break the cycle? Make sure the Republicans lose soundly 3 or 4 times in a row (at the national level), and make sure they know who-dunnit. (us).

Then you have leverage. Then they're ready to listen. This is politics man, you gotta break some proverbial legs. If the Republicans win the presidential race in 2012, then we didn't break any legs.

We'll just continue to be an annoyance.

You know dfwrider?..I like some of your ideas...

Break the cycle.

It's not like the republicans have learned their lesson anyway.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

OK--Both words marked...

Obama or Romney...

Either way, we lose.

I think there's some truth in both of our statements.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Seems to be the pattern

The only solution is what hawkie suggests, "just stop".

I say stay the course

The tea party is ours to keep if we really want to. Sarah Palin and the neocons can find their own 'party'. We shouldn't let her make this into a Rebublican tea party, or the Democrats make a Democrat tea party. As far as I'm concerned, the real tea party should be neither. The name is tarnished if we just walk away from it.

Real eyes realize real lies

We want our country back

Every year is a year for Ron Paul!

This is why we must start something new.

Call it a Whiskey Rebellion, or whatever, but call it anything other than a Tea Party.

The Tea Parties were Hijacked shortly after Dr. Paul's 2007 Party.

We have got to stand for truth, and not be grouped with the usurpers, who, as you point out, will be herded back to the Neocons.

Sarah McPalin must be neutralized

Sarah Palin is a teacon neocon progressive operative who takes her marching orders from John McCain and the progressive extremists.Sarah McPalin must be neutralized by educating all Ron Paul patriots to get the message out that she is out to divide and control the tea party from its true purpose.I am so proud of Ron Paul and everyone who supports his message of courage insisting on a constitutional republic. The USA has been under siege and enslaved since 1913 by the central bankers and progressives. We must stay focused on Ron Paul's dream.I hope we will all pledge to focus on ending and investigating the federal reserve.and not loose track of our mission as free and independent individual Americans.

liberty1913

It's not just Sarah McPalin,

It's not just Sarah McPalin, it's Dick Armey and his organization FreedomWorks too. Just doing a little searching, Dick Armey supported the Iraq war, seems to support NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT, and seems to think granting citizenship to illegal aliens is a good idea. These are all things that Ron Paul is opposed to. I wish Sarah Palin and Dick Armey/FreedomWorks would be shunned by the tea parties.

I am not a Tea Party person

I am not a Tea Party person
I am a Paulite, and very proud of it
I have a leader, and mentor
We have had our tea parties, rallies, music, Blimps
They will dissolve and destroy the Tea Party label because they have no core.
My core is Ron Paul

"13Hour" YOU NAILED IT!

Your statement should be our platform...

So with your blessing I repeat it here...

"I am not a Tea Party person
I am a Paulite, and very proud of it
I have a leader, and mentor
We have had our tea parties, rallies, music, Blimps
They will dissolve and destroy the Tea Party label because they have no core.

Stop and think for a moment.

Stop and think for a moment. The Republican Party wants to take over the Tea Party Movement and neutralize it, as they did in 1994. Back in 1994, it was Newt Gingrich and his phony "Contract with America" that destroyed the revolt within the Republican ranks.

Today, the GOP is trying to use Sarah Palin to take over the Tea Parties. This is the same Sarah Palin who ran with John McCain, and who supported the re-election of John McCain. And John McCain is the author of the ENEMY BELLIGERANT DETENTION AND PROSECUTION ACT, a massive assault on the Bill of Rights.

Once again I need to point out, there is virtually no common ground between the current GOP and the Tea Parties. The current GOP is in bed with the globalists. The current GOP supports the phony wars on drugs and terrorism - which are really just power grabs. The current GOP supports undeclared wars around the globe, as well as the continued theft through inflation of the Federal Reserve System.

The GOP will not envelope the Tea Parties unless the people in the Tea Parties allow it. Remember where the Tea Parties came from: dissatisfaction with both the Democrats and the Republicans. Why would anyone think that suddenly the Tea Parties support the Republicans? Because Sarah Palin says so?

What??

What Tea Parties did you go to? The majority of the Tea Partiers over the last year are GOP stooges. They've already taken over, we are too late. Did you not notice the morons screaming about socialism (which we already have) with the anti-Obama signs?

Exactly.

Exactly.

This could still work

Let Palin and the GOP hijack the tea party and grow it's numbers. Let's hope they do just that. At least for the next year. Let them stir up the people, and then when the election draws near, Ron Paul, could step back in as the Grandaddy of the Cause. I got a feeling that Palin has created a pretty hefty sack of campaign baggage for herself, and Mitt ain't exactly the GOP poster boy. Look for Huckabee to get involved sometime. Ron Paul just needs professional people around him this time.

Not just the tea party has been hijacked...

Every element of the movement is infiltrated with enemies...look what happened in Michigan !

The very sites we visit daily to communicate the message are infiltrated and FULL of trolls. After all a troll is a "visitor" a troll is more "clicks" and if the whole direction of the sites are to "GET RATINGS FOR MORE ADVERTIZING...then the movement is LOST !!!

I like to call it "Alexa Click Whore Syndrome"...and it quickly leads to "Trolliolus Federalis". If you look at this deeply...you'll see that the major media is corrupted due to this exact reason...In a Business as usual type of mentality...the movement is corrupted !!!

Discover Costa Rica

We're headed for disaster

if we sit back and think we've got the momentum to win without keeping the heat on. We have been co-opted, or hijacked, BECAUSE we have no leader or voice or platform or set of beliefs that others can look to.

Ron Paul is a great leader in finding those beliefs but failed to dazzle the public and attract the sheeple who can't think for themselves. Jessie Ventura can dazzle but lacks enough of the 'tact' to attract some groups that need formalism and old-school reverence from their candidate. Going down the line, every other candidate has some (minor) flaw or shortcoming as it relates to today's Hollywood style elections. If that wasn't enough, if we did get together on a platform, a candidate and a campaign, we'd still have the corrupt polls and elections to fight.

No, I'm sorry, people. This ain't over til it's over. I think we have lots of work to do. Here's my take...

We organize a grass roots, crowd source based site to hash out the issues we want to promote. We separate out the ones that will repel too many people (birthers and truthers) and place them on an 'investigate later to settle the dispute' status - neither taking a supportive or critical stance. We allow all to participate in this process but ensure a solid anti-troll structure somehow.

We collaborate with all the other groups to find common ground and make a pseudo pact to combine forces.

We publicly denounce every issue a would-be hijacker says immediately. If they want to agree with everything we stand for, they can join.

We take over the poll results and guarantee honesty somehow. Either we create an online poll (what I've personally been working on) or we hound some existing poll organization on their corruption in every way possible until we're satisfied it's honest.

We hold a primary of sorts to vet all candidates against each other. This will let all factions of the Tea Party / R3volution / grass roots have a say in who runs and will attract more groups to participate. The voting in this will be predicated by extensively researched debates with fact checking and scoring on accuracy being paramount.

We combine efforts with these other groups to expose all unfair practices (media spotlighting, straw polling, primary corruption, voter registration and election handling) through rallies, advertising and phone bombs to keep things fair.

And lastly, we sit back and let the chips fall where they may.

Maddow: Is The Tea Party Movement Trying To Get Rid Of Ron Paul?
http://www.dailypaul.com/node/124496

Secede

the GAME is crooked.

Like every other time

NO ONE will stand up at the tea party and say these very words!! Dr. Paul seems to be the only leader with guts and he has a miraculous way walking the tight rope.

Why are so many afraid to say the TRUTH?? In all areas!! We bow to neocon aggression for fear of not having the support of those who know the truth.

Big time even right here on DP. "Don't mention this or that, it will give _______ a bad reputation."

Gosh, that is stupid.

You are correct!

The Tea Party movement has been taken over by the Republican establishment. I remember being very excited about this movement and then by last summer I was seeing Hannity, Gingrich, and Palin being associated with it. That was when I lost faith in the group. It is amazing to me how quickly the movement was taken over. I really thought we had a chance at a strong 3rd part uprising, but it has now been diminished to a tool for Republican Neo-cons. Maybe we can start the Beer Party?

"The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money."

-Alexis de Tocqueville

Ha,ha! The Beer Party!

That's about all that's left to try!
