CNN Attempt To Portray Patriots As Terrorists Backfires, Segment Fails To Air

Paul Joseph Watson | Prison Planet.com
Tuesday, March 30, 2010

A CNN Anderson Cooper segment which was set to demonize critics of big government and Obamacare as violent extremists backfired after radio host Alex Jones pointed out that corporate media outlets like CNN were responsible for killing over a million Iraqis as a consequence of their repeated lies about weapons of mass destruction.

Jones was invited for an interview on Friday to appear later that evening on Anderson Cooper 360, but the segment never aired, presumably because CNN program chiefs were so embarrassed at Jones’ proficiency in exposing how corporate news networks owned by the military-industrial complex were a far deadlier threat than any of the menagerie of domestic “extremists” CNN has sought to demonize in recent weeks.

Jones immediately recognized the tone of the hit piece when the interviewer began a barrage of questions attempting to discredit grassroots political movements by smearing them as dangerous radicals.

Watch the interview below, which was filmed by one of Jones’ crew. CNN’s questions are not audible because they refused to allow Jones’ cameraman access to the feed.

CNN coins term "Hatriot"

Check out the Urban Dictionary. Be sure to vote it down.

Be sure to mention CNN anytime somebody brings up "hatriot".

ha ha Sara Palin is a HATRIOT.

This will probably piss some people off but........

If AJ is such an Efing fruit cake then why does our beloved Dr. Paul, and Judge Nap continue to go on his show??????

Regardless of his theatrics, he is reaching thousands of people. Stop throwing the baby out with the bath water. The message needs to get out, and the sheeple need to wake up, and they ARE WAKIN UP!

Calm down Alex

Alex needs some anger management therapy. Nobody outside the movement is going to listen to what he's actually saying if he sounds like a ranting lunatic. All the hand waving and shouting actually reminds me of Hitler's speeches.

He also needs to remember that your average CNN viewer only knows about the stuff they've heard about on CNN. Rattling down a list of things that no CNN viewer has ever heard of makes him look like an incoherent insane asylum resident.

Alex needs to stick to one or two points that are relevant to the current discussion. If he's persuasive, the viewer may come to his website to learn more.

Baby steps, Alex.

Some of the people commenting

that this was staged, should be embarrassed.

EVERY major MSM outlet has local affiliate stations, studios, where people from the city they want to interview can go, and be connected to the mothership.

THIS is one of those places. Fox, has a similar one where AJ was interviewed for Geraldo, recently. They had the SAME background/studio, when they interviewed someone else from Austin for Foxs' O'Reilly show.

What do you think, they are going to have a loudspeaker blaring at the interviewee?!?

Have you ever heard of something called feedback?

Some of you folks seem so desperate to find any sort of conspiracy about AJ, but can't seem to grasp that the official story of 9/11 was full of lies.

Your stupidity, and or agenda is showing.

Oh, and Jon?

I looked at your website with your 3D transformer models you built. You need a girlfriend or something man. Seriously.

A word to the wise.

To any out there who deal with the media on a regular basis ( P.R. , media relations specialists etcc.), make it a priority to have some one record the interview for your purpose as well.

In addition to having the interaction documented for your purposes, it fires a shot across the bow of unscrupulous journalists who may have an agenda. This should be standard operating procedure for any dealings with the media that are not publicity related in nature.

It was very wise of Mr. Jones to have done that in this interview. I suspect that may have had something to do with CNN pulling the plug on the piece.

In fine form

I don't agree with Alex Jones on everything but he's at his best in this interview. Who needs the censored mass media when we have the internet? I'm happy to see the official media lose advertising and circle the bowl.

This is pretty cool! It would

This is pretty cool! It would be so fantastic if Cooper Anderson would have balls to air this. Of course he doesn't but I'm a dreamer...

AJ did a very good job even if it looked quite absurd without the questions, etc.

do you alex jones critics

Realize that if this was a staged event CNN would be suing him for all they can get and running thier story any way with ammunition to do so.Dont let your love of ron paul frazzle your brain. You should also know that if ron paul even got close to winning the presidency he would be assasinated.SAD BUT TRUE.

Were he struck down

he'd become more powerful than you could possibly imagine. Clearly that path has been tabled, as his following has grown too large. But that's unrelated to this subject.

"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it." | Up for a game?

Is there any way to prove or corroborate the alleged fact that

this is a collection of responses to CNN questions and that a CNN interview was ever in the works at all?

I can see how this is easily staged to "appear" to be a one sided interview. It is made even more convenient by CNN not allowing the Jones' techs to "jack in" to the CNN audio feed. Very fishy if you ask me.

Corroboration means from someone OTHER than

Alex Jones.

well apparently

it aired this evening on CNN. Believe me, I share your skepticism.

AJ had the line of the day...

On silly militia members playing dress up in the woods:

paraphrased "For those who think this is just the next level after paint ball...you don't get it."

I just watched both clips and that quote is no where in either

one of them. Did we watch two different videos?

No he said it on his show today...

Hit the nail on the head. (in my view)

The militia movement of the 1990's was made up by media and federal agents with some silly copy cat boys acting tough in the mix.

I predicted that if Obama wins the media would drag out the ole militia movement thing...and like clockwork...

Are there people who are not on the US tax dollar payroll in these groups? Perhaps some. Are these individuals most likely morons? Yes.

i would want to see this on

i would want to see this on CNN.

The slogan press on has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave.

Alex Talks to CNN Producer About Anderson Cooper's Upcoming

Hit Piece.

Of course they would do a hit piece on the "militias" - it's

pile-on time for the media, each one parroting the other.

Kudos to Alex - he did an awesome job!

Nobody else could have done that - CNN probably thought they were going to pull the usual "Gotcha!" "interview" on him. Haha! He's a little too smart for the likes of them.

In Liberty -

AC360 and they did a piece on the militias and nothing about Alex on the show.

As I continue to say, we have

As I continue to say, we have nothing to apologize for. It is not US who are breaking the law. It is not US who are responsible for countless deaths.

The real anti-government people are in this Administration. It is they who hate the military and the police. It is they who hate this nation and our Constitution. And it is they who have contempt for the American people.

THEY are not the government. They are public servants, and they took an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Unfortunately, they don't take that oath as seriously as we do.

Is there any intelligent life

Is there any intelligent life left on this site?

AJ must use a top-notch B.O. stopper.

He gets so exercised I expect to see soaked armpits on his shirts.

Anyway, I really like seeing him rub CNN's face in their own poo.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

That was kinda cool and crazy too...

That was the longest that I've ever listend to AJ... I think that he could be a GREAT politician if he could control himself a little bit more. I think he really believes what he's saying, but his ego may potentially be dangerous. The religious stuff is kinda nutty too... Anyway, the end was really funny.

I hope it airs just to see how brilliant their editing guy is to take this and make it into something useful for the MSM. Alex is so right. The mainstream is a bunch of Dinosaurs grasping at straws to keep their dynasty alive. What has blown my mind for the last 10 years is that they just kept spewing the lies and half truths even though most could now reach across the world with the internet and go right to the source. Just makes me wonder what the other half is going to do without their Daily "Programing" When the Media Monarchs come tumbling down..

"I have found that being rich is not about having the most but about needing the least"

Makes me wonder ...

What has blown my mind for the last 10 years is that they just kept spewing the lies and half truths even though most could now reach across the world with the internet and go right to the source.

Which makes ME wonder whether they just haven't internalized it and are still acting exactly as before, if if it was EVEN WORSE back when we COULDN'T check it. B-b
