Peter Schiff will throw in $500K of his own money if we reach $2 million tonight!

I'm just saying that he did not help the situation. What I was partially blaming him for is not making the $2 million goal. If Schiff was Front Page, $70,000 extra would definitely have been donated.

I did not know that Liberty candidates purchased banners here. I did not think about it. I thought those were banners of people Michael supported. I will add though, that I never have complained about a banner. I only complained that Schiff is only on the Front Page for negative reasons.

I have donated around $50(not exact but closer in my recollection), to the DP. When Michael asked for money, I helped out. If I could give out my personal info, Michael would confirm this. An example, I donated $20 to the site upgrade. I also bought a poster for $50 (I believe, add that to the other $50). I have done this because I think the DP was ,or maybe is a wonderful site, despite the fact that I think it has many drawbacks.

I do not expect Michael to change his mind on this subject concerning Schiff. I will email him about this soon. I haven't yet because I felt like I would be wasting my time. I urge anyone that will not support him because of his "supposed" foreign policy beliefs, to email and call the Schiff Campaign and urge them to change their position. Tell them that you support him but will not donate unless he changes his position. I have done it. It is easy and takes little time. Don't just turn your back on him. Take a chance and try to make a difference.

Do you ask michael to put something on the front page and then he approves and posts it? Or do you personally decide and then post the thread on the front page?

I would like to know, because if the former is the case, then I will send michael each thread that I believe deserves to be on the front page. I would also like an explanation as to why michael(I assume) has turned his back on Schiff. Is it because of his foreign policy stance or because his view on "conspiracy theories"? That is what I would like to know. If is it because of his foreign policy views, then I would URGE michael to URGE Schiff to change his views. I would URGE everyone at DP to email the Schiff Campaign and tell them that you will no longer support him if he maintains his views. That is the BEST thing to do. Just being silent and turning your back on him, after the grassroots "drafted" him, is WRONG. This Campaign was not his idea. He's doing it because of us. I have emailed the Campaign and I hope everyone else will.

Schiff has a real chance of succeeding. I believe the financial situation is so dire that it outweighs his foreign policy stance. The financial situation is going to bring us down soon. If we go to War with Iran, it is OVER that much quicker. Schiff will have a STRONG voice in Washington telling them of the dire financial situation the country is in. He can have the same or even more influence than Ron Paul in D.C and in the media. Senators have more power, as you well know.

I hope everyone reading this post, really considers the best strategy to take when it comes to who we will support and won't support considering the real situation we are facing.

Well, if he had done the challenge 7 days ago maybe he would've met the $2million goal by now. But when he gives 3 hours before midnight to accomplish such goal it will be difficult to accomplish 'cause not too many people will see it. I donated, but only because I came here and saw the post and decided to check it out.
