This will not be easy. last year we had a war on this Times magazine poll. I think you can vote as many times as you like. Times rigs their poll every year but maybe we will out smart them this year.

They've always had their priorities screwed on straight..

You just have to know where to look:

It looks like the above list was chosen by Time editors

Whereas, here's the public voted list: http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1...
Ron is #20.

You think Operation Mockingbird

would allow Ron Paul to slip on such a controlled list?

Too bad they are too stupid to realize this just further erodes their already negligible credibility.

There are only so many people out there who will keep their head ever buried in the sand. And those tools really aren't worth much.

I haven't read time in ages.. If I came across one, my first instinct would be to wipe with it, or perhaps use it for kindling. It would never occur to me to actually read time magazine.

Slime magazine is written by

Slime magazine is written by keynesian marxist progressive scumbags for keynesian marxist progressive scumbags.

We the people have no reason to take anything those jerks say seriously.

I am out of touch with most Americans precisely because I am not out of touch with reality.

who reads that shitty

who reads that shitty magazine anyways...

I do.

I have a rare ability to come in contact with opposing ideas and respectfully disagree without my head imploding.

CHA-CHING!

Yes you are

a troll is why.

"I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."
-- Thomas Jefferson

You still can't find anything wrong with it, can you?

.

CHA-CHING!

I can come into contact with

I can come into contact with opposing ideas and not have my head implode as long as they aren't completely stupid from the start and they don't impose on me.

If they're stupid, I'm going to school you on your lack of thinking.

If they impose on me, then we have a problem, and I'm a pretty big boy.

I am out of touch with most Americans precisely because I am not out of touch with reality.

Yep. School that magazine.

And then beat it up for good measure.

CHA-CHING!

Wouldn't it be wrong to beat

Wouldn't it be wrong to beat up retarded people?

I am out of touch with most Americans precisely because I am not out of touch with reality.

Yep. It's wrong to beat up anyone.

Pretty sure everyone learns that in first grade.

Opinions don't impose on you. Actions do. You've sucked up the idea that physical violence in response to speech is alright.

You're going to come back with some bs about how you weren't serious and was just joking. That's not the point. The point is that you, through being a "big guy", find it okay to verbally intimidate (through jest or not) those who don't agree with you through supposedly harmless and non-serious jokes about violence.

And that is what is wrong with politics in this country.

CHA-CHING!

I think you don't understand

I think you don't understand the meaning of the word "impose."

Differing opinions are one thing; I can cope with people not thinking [like me], but I will not tolerate them trying to force me to live a certain way.

Now go reread what I said in my earlier post before you reply.

I am out of touch with most Americans precisely because I am not out of touch with reality.

I don't think you understand the meaning of the word opinion.

You were replying to a post about a magazine. A magazine is, by its nature as a collection of people printing opinions, incapable of forcing you to live in any certain way. Into the discussion you brought the threat of physical violence with no prior threat by the opposing side.

And spare me the arrogant "olol you don't understand what I wrote".

CHA-CHING!

Yeah, you didn't reread my

Yeah, you didn't reread my earlier post.

I wasn't talking about differing opinions, I was talking about coercion.

I will not respond to this line anymore, as I'm talking to a brick wall.

I am out of touch with most Americans precisely because I am not out of touch with reality.

There is a difference between what you would have liked

to say in hindsight (with comments on introduction of violence etc.) and how it actually came out.

The difference in this case is apparently a large one.

You talked about ideas that impose on you. Ideas are supposed to be able to impose on you (again, free speech, all that). Actions are not.

CHA-CHING!

I disagree.

I disagree.

I am out of touch with most Americans precisely because I am not out of touch with reality.

That's alright.

It's all just semantics anyway.

CHA-CHING!

I finally agree.

I finally agree.

I am out of touch with most Americans precisely because I am not out of touch with reality.

no you have a rare ability to

no you have a rare ability to bend over backwords, stick your head up your rear and still be able to breathe.. now that is rare ability..

I also have the rare ability to capitalize the first word in a

sentence.

I challenge you to find something remotely nonsensical about

what I posted as opposed to just spouting bs from your preconcieved notions about me.

And an ellipse is three periods FYI. I've noticed you have a problem with that.
