Michael Reagan: "I will support the Democratic nominee over Ron Paul"
Submitted by Roderic006 on Wed, 12/12/2007 - 21:56
Yes. Im not exaggerating. I'll try to find the audio... but this is what he said on his show. (On SIRIUS Patriot 144).
In no uncertain terms, he said he would support Hillary, Obama... whomever, over Ron Paul. He said that they are less crazy than "those Ron Paul people".
We need to do something to educate this ignorant hackjob.

How do we know this is true?
Where is the recording?
Maybe we should find out if this is true before sending him hate mail and death threats, don't ya think?
I always thought BALLET DANCERS were dem's anyway
did i say that out loud?
If voting could really change things,
it would be illegal. Here is hoping for change!
Oh, I'm keeping the faith
Don't get me wrong... I'm supporting ron paul 'til death.
But i'm tired of bitching about the media. It's not the way to win imho.
I'm going to knock on some doors, meet my neighbors and pass out some slim jims.
peace.
Michael is the *adopted* son
of a President who was made impotent from an assasination attempt, and Alzheimers.
Noone cares what Michael "my father" Reagan says.
He is not even on the low level of Glenn Beck.
For god sakes!
Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.
my feelings on this post:
WHO CARES.
i'm done with the media at this point.
I'm going to wash some dishes now and go walk my precinct.
have fun guys.
Let me sum up my feelings,
Ron Paul is the last defender of the founding ideology. When this is over win or lose, I shall keep my faith.

:)
So here's what we will do...
When it's time for the general election, we won't support a CFR stooge like Romney and McCain, we'll write in Ron's name and then they can see how many votes their GOP nominee will have lost by.. Heh.
Write ins DON'T work
Unless a set of rules are followed. For example, Dr. Paul has to be registered as a write in candidate, then there is a deadline, no telling what else. So just to say, I'll write in his name sounds powerful, but it is not, unless criteria has been met.
Write in ?
Since you seem to be knowledgeable about write in rules, can you please refer me to a couple of accurate resources on the matter?

We can write in on our paper ballots (mail in election)
If I remember right, there are some blank lines to do so. I would suggest checking with your county clerk (county election officer).
One thing we discussed before to avoid using touch screen machines to vote on would be to request an absentee ballot, which should be paper. That would be another question to ask.
I watched "Hacking Democracy" (the whole thing) yesterday, and I found out it isn't ONLY the Diebold machines that can be hacked! We need to see that ALL votes are paper votes and hand counted!
Could this be about his need for higher ratings?
Or is it that his rancor on so many other conservative issues that makes his talk show rank much lower than someone with his name recognition might be expected to have? Talkers Magazine just came out with a national ranking list: http://www.talkers.com/main/index.php?option=com_content&tas...
and while they only assign numbers to the top 100, you can tell by the number of non-syndicated local programs above him, that wherever he is below the 100 mark can't be where he wants to be.
His disdain for Ron Paul, and whoever his Democrat preference might be, might get some newspaper or blog attention, but I seriously doubt it will translate into any higher ratings for his show. Most radio listeners would rather listen to NPR than Michael Reagan.
For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it. - Patrick Henry
NPR Just as Biased as the Others
Too bad for them. NPR is turning out to be just as biased against Dr. Paul as other media outlets.
Ad hominem! Abusive!

Ignorant might be valid...
Sorry if I start to sound like a broken record....
Grow up
Those whole 7 hours are showing

If it wasn't for Ron, maybe
If it wasn't for Ron, maybe his father WOULD'NT HAVE BEEN PRESIDENT, considering he led the delegation to elect Ronald Reagan. How could he be so ignorant?
Hi, I like Macs and Ron Paul.
Dr. Paul was Reagan's protege of sorts...
Cannot believe Ron Jr would be such an ignorant 'patriot'...
NC Unaffiliated Voter and bitter EX democrackkk
He doesn't share the same
He doesn't share the same genes as Ronald Reagan nor the commitment.

Well.. If he is taking his
Well..
If he is taking his point of view from what he sees in the mainstream media then yes the Ron Paul supporters do look crazy. Lynching Hannity, throwing snowballs at people, etc..
Look at the biased coverage the MSM has been pushing. Even Frank Luntz says the same thing, "you people act to damn crazy, calling my house saying 'F$%k you Frank', that is why I won't give you a break".
People are letting their emotions get the better of them and are making ALL supporters look like disrespectful idiots. Think about how this is working for the neo-cons in the way that they keep saying "Radical Islam" by making the entire religion a villain in the way they twist it because of a few idiots using the religion to push their agenda giving that religion a bad name.
Please people quit acting so disrespectful and focus on being a positive force for change.
"Politics is a dance of passive aggressiveness that takes intelligent assertiveness, not emotional belligerence." George E. Tarrant III
Oh, for pete's sake
Stop with the Hannity already. They didn't LYNCH Hannity. Throw a snowball. Give me a break. Every kid plays snowball throwing. You care what Frank Luntz says??? Frank is a proven fraud. He plants people and sways people by his own admittance. It is people within a group who make a big deal out of nothing that cause a group to look disjointed and incohesive. If you are in the group, stop criticizing the group. Allow a little individuality. Hannity had a smile on his face when he turned around. If he made a big deal out of it, we should not have followed.
Actually..
If I was Hannity, and someone protesting threw something, that someone would be in jail for assault. Period. It was a dumb friggin move, and those involved need to man-up and apologize.

Wrong about Luntz
Luntz has not admitted that he plants and sways people. He is on video saying that it CAN be done. That doesn't meant he does it. The Penn And Teller video that's been circulating around took portions of Luntz talking and took it out of context to manipulate you and so many other Paul supporters to think he was saying that he does this. My Statistics professor, like Luntz, showed us how this can be done as well. Does that mean that he does it when he conducts research? Of course not. This is taught in order to show us to beware of polls by closely examining the questions being asked.

Fine I give up
Lets all go act like emotional @sshat immature children and get labeled a violent revolutionary group so that everyone with a Ron Paul sign in their yard is a candidate for a cell at gitmo.
He was smiling because he knew that he could now use the event for justification to improve his ratings and further drive a wedge between his listeners/viewers and Ron Paul.
I understand that Fox is fraudulent but look at the SC debate, they expose themselves. Provoking them solves nothing because they have more people on their side. To win those people you have to give them a reason NOT to hate you as Hannity or Luntz may say.
I'm sorry but in principle a peaceful resistance does not mean screaming obscene comments and chasing someone en-masse down a street or throwing snow balls. It is immature and once people get it through their think heads that their actions reflect on their candidate then maybe we will see some progress with the media.
Look at how they took a supporter position of the 9/11 truth movement and made it a question at the national debates. Also look at the newsletters that they are playing out to no end smearing Paul as a racist because of one or two bad eggs connected to Paul who wrote that filth under a few newsletters bearing his name.
The media and politics will bury you with guilt by association. If you havent figured that out yet, then we have no hope of a diplomatic approach because most americans believe almost everything they see on the news and we might as well bend over for Hillary care, or revive the militia.
I agree
Many Paul supporters automatically hate anyone in the media that expresses disagreement with Paul, and attack them, either by being verbally abusive or by threatening them with violence in emails. I saw someone in here print out a letter to Luntz saying that he was going to "kick [him] in the throat." If I didn't know anything about Paul and saw the way so many Paul supporters are, I would think "What kind of leader has sent these vicious immature people out?" It's just natural instinct to associate a leader with his followers.
What Filth?
The only parts of the newsletters I heard were the ones Wolf Blitzer read when he interviewed Dr. Paul the other day. I heard no filth or racism, though I definitely heard non-PC opinions. In fact, most of what was being read was true if you examine it with a non-PC brain. It may not be truth that people want to hear.
We dont want change
We are the defenders of the founding ideology.
RINOs + Democrats = loose change, change on the loose.
Those of you that do not understand the horizontal political scale, and use msm rhetoric show your naivity everytime you speak.
*sigh*
Trying to convince the brainwashed masses by extremism doesn't cut it. The people will still tune in to the tube every night and gobble up what they see and you, who insulate that I am naive are obvious egotistically offended and probably think people are insane and / or stupid for not supporting Paul, yet look at the example the extremism has sent aside from giving free negative media coverage, it has actually turned off other supporters.
The principle behind Pauls campaign is to change the system within the system through peaceful resistance of the status quo, so what you need to do is not personally attack people because they cannot yet see the wisdom in supporting Paul. It makes ALL of us look bad and shuts people down from opening their minds. You would also do well not to attack Paul supporters who admonish extremism as you will get people so angry that they might withdraw their support for Paul with his peaceful option and take the second option, convince everyone to vote for the opposition so that they drive the country into the toilet and then the armed resistance can start, or maybe that is what you are trying to do.
Are you full yet?
You just gobbled a whole lot of MSM PC garbage.
