I thought

this could use a bump.
It's 13 minutes long, and worth the time IMO.

Events that have taken place over the last year have led me reflect on this film for some reason.

wolfe's picture

Thank you for bumping this...

He makes it clear in a very short video.

And I swear to anyone still on the fence, once you see the prison for what it is, you are free.

It's like an elephant. They train it to stay put with chains around it's ankle, but once it learns it will never be free, they just use rope because the elephant has given up and feels the slight pressure of the rope and assumes it is unbreakable.

But the rope is so easy to break.

The Philosophy Of Liberty -

Just saw this posted @ infowars

I sometimes wonder if the DP is following infowars, or if infowars is following the DP.

I firmly believe that "The Coffee Party" idea from "peaceplace" was born here, tweeted to Alex Jones the next day, and then was on the MSM within a couple of weeks.

I can agree with his conclusion ...

Probably paraphrasing here ... to see the farm is to be able to leave it.

But I don't get the sense that he and I are "seeing" it from the same foundation.

Fortunately, as a Roman Catholic (one of his whipping boys in this clip), I know from whence I came, where I am going and what is necessary for me to get there. I understand history from a biblical perspective, the first man and woman created by God. Next there were families, then tribes, later city-states and finally countries. Different economic systems prevailed at different times due to man's continuing development. This guy paints all of history with a very broad brush.

Since men were created as social beings, things just naturally work better when they cooperate with neighbors and trade goods and services. From the beginning, intelligent men have found that system to be highly efficient.

Such a system, however, requires rules (government, if you will). If everyone would first govern himself by the Ten Commandments, we would need very few rules and very little government to keep things orderly. Unfortunately, as things have devolved around here, we have a government whose schools purposely brainwash the young into believing in godless evolution. They corrupt them with sex "ed," and produce a gaggle of flip-flopping touchy-feelies rather than sound thinkers. The whole society reeks of selfishness (I gotta be me). We are now controlled by men who have been raised this way and believe all the rot and whose only goal in life is to control the world. Does the producer of this video have a world view substantially different from theirs? I think not. He's part of the problem, rather than the solution, even if he's very well intentioned.

As Christ said, "What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his soul?" Short answer: NOTHING! Far better to live the life of a humble, hard working serf and enter heaven.

I don't really buy the grand narrative..

I don't really like the grand narrative being pitched here: "Throughout the ages, overlords have been looking for ways to squeeze maximum yield out of the human crop..."

So these unnamed overlords 'decided' to give us civil liberties because we would be more productive that way? That's a cynical and simple-minded way to explain centuries of our development as a society.

Slavery was outlawed because the slaves were 'underproductive'? I don't recall the abolition movement being led by slave-owners dissatisfied with the efficiency level of their work force...

There's certainly some food for thought in this clip, but it feels like a cherry-picked collection of ideas from "1984", overlaid with some vague Masonic-overlord theory.

Don't buy the grand narrative...?

Simple read the history of Tiberius Caesar the son of Augustus. Tiberius promoted a laze fair economy in Rome to developed a middle class known as the bourgeois. Tiberius knew this system would bring economic stability, community values and morality.

At the same time Tiberius instituted a socialist economy over Egypt. All Roman males received a ration of free bread from Caesar. Tiberius used the tightly control economy and state of Egypt to supply this bread.

The above illustrate one state leader, in one moment in history instituting two separate farming methods to produce a variety of results. Still don't buy the grand narrative?

People have always tried to Dominate one another

The way most people would have you think about this is from the perspective of society being naturally good, and that if society could defeat the other evil society, and get rid of those few bad elements, everything would be fine. Of course, defeating those evil doers requires that you give up some of your essential liberties, a sacrifice for society. The clip points out that this is just a method of psychological domination.

I am not so sure that society has advanced all that much since ancient time. Our tools are alot better, but not our social structure. The world still has slavery, serfdom, wars of conquest, annihilation and genocide. We have abject poverty, and huge disparities in access to information, and other resources. Society is supposed to combat these things, but do you ever see it happening ? Individuals have made a difference, not societies.

History has proven

that man has chosen to enslave and dominate his fellow man from the beginning. There is no dancing around this issue.

The first caveman realized he could take a dinosaur bone, and knock his rival caveman in the head and take his food, and or his hunting grounds.

This process has evolved over thousands of years, and I agree with the conclusions made.

I think it is naive to not recognize that a group of individuals that have had extreme power, wealth and control, would at some point give that up.

These groups have made it their priority to "keep it in the family", and will stop at nothing to protect their reign of power.

Finally, how could you NOT draw parallels to 1984? This book was almost prophetic.

Masonic-overlord theory?

Where is that in the video kestudi??

You seem to be missing the points of this video or have a misunderstanding of history and how we got to this point.

While this video is not perfect...it describes one of the biggest problems humanity has been dealing with for thousands if not tens of thousands of years.

wolfe's picture

Look up the history of slavery then...

Because in fact, it was already dying out as a business model. It was determined that slaves required too much upkeep and expense to make them worth the cost/benefit. Much better to simply pay someone scraps to do the same work.

This was yet another reason that the civil war need not have happened. They aren't unnamed overlords. They have a name, "our leaders", whoever those leaders happen to be. Government is ownership.

The truth is rarely complicated, deception is almost always complicated. Everything in life boils down to simple truths, everything else is our internal defense mechanisms trying to avoid seeing the truth, because almost always, the truth is hard, brutal, and painful to look upon.

The Philosophy Of Liberty -

Wow...well said

Can I use that last paragraph? :)

And absolutely.

The summary

was terrible.... I was looking for something a little more profound.

This is the story of your enslavement……..

How it came to be…..and how you can finally be free….

Like all animals, human beings want to dominate and exploit the resources around them.
At first we mostly fished and ate off the land, but then something magical and terrible happened to our minds. We became alone among the animals, afraid of death and a future lost and this was a start of a great tragedy and even a great possibility….

You see when we become afraid of death, of injury, and imprisonment, we become controllable and so valuable in a way no other resource could ever be. The greatest resource for any human being to control is not natural resources, or tools, or animals, or land, but other human beings. You can frighten an animal because animals are afraid of pain in the moment. But you can not frighten a animal with a loss of liberty, with torture or imprisonment in the future, because animals have very little sense of tomorrow.

You can not threaten a cow with torture or a sheep with death.

You can not swing a sword at a tree and scream at it to produced more fruit, or hold a burning torch to a field and demand more wheat.

You can not get more eggs by treating a hen, but you can get a man to give you his eggs by threatening him.

This human farming has been the most profitable and destructive occupation though out history and it is now reaching its distinctive climax. Human society can not be rationally understood until it is seen for what it is; a series of farms where human farmers own human live stock.

Some people get confused because the government provides health care, and water, and education, and roads, and thus imagine some benevolence at work. Nothing could be further from the reality.

Farmers provide health care, and irrigation, and training to their live stock.

Some people get confuse, because we are allowed certain liberties, and thus imagine that our governments protect our freedoms.

But farmers plant their crops a certain distance apart to increase their yields, and will allow certain animals larger stalls or fields. If it means they will produce more meat and milk.

In your country, your tax farm; your farmer grants you certain freedoms, not because he cares about your liberties but because he wants to increase his profits.

Are you beginning to see the nature of the cage you where born into?

There have been four major phases of human farming.

The first phase in ancient Egypt was direct and brutal human compulsion. Human bodies were controlled but the creativity productivity of the human mind remained beyond the reach of the wipe and the brand and the shackles. Slaves remained willfully under productive and required enormous resources to control.

The second phase was the Roman model; where in slaves were granted some capacity for freedom, ingenuity and creativity; which raised their productivity. This increased the wealth of Rome and thus the tax income of roman government and with this additional wealth Rome became an empire; destroying the economic freedoms that fed its power…..and collapsed.

I am sure this does not seem entirely unfamiliar.

After the collapse of Rome, the fertile(sp?) model introduce the concept of livestock ownership and taxation instead of being directly owned, pheasants farmed land and that they could retain as long as they paid off the local warlords.

This model eventually broke down due to the continuing subdivision of productive land and was destroyed during the enclosure movement, when land was consolidated and hundreds of thousands of pheasants where kicked off their ancestral land because new farming techniques made larger farms more productive with fewer people.

The increased productivity of the latter middle ages created the excess food required for the expansion of towns and cities which in turn gave rise to the modern democratic model of human ownership.

As displaced pheasants flooded into the cities a huge stock of cheap human capital became available to the rising industrialist and the ruling class of human farmers quickly realized they could make more money by letting their live stock choose their own occupations.

Under the democratic model direct slave ownership has be replaced by the mafia model. The mafia rarely owns businesses directly but rather send thugs around once a month to steal from the business owners.

You are now allowed to choose you own occupation which raises your productivity and thus the taxes that you can pay to your masters.

“Value this time in you life kids, cause this is the time in your life when you still have your choices; and it goes by so fast.
When you’re a teenager; you think you can anything and you do.

Your 20’s are a blur.

30s you raise your family make a little money and you think to yourself what happened to my 20’s?

40’s you grow a little pot belly, you grow another chine, the music starts to get to loud one of or old girlfriends from high school becomes a grandmother.

50’s you have a minor surgery; you’ll call it a procedure, but it’s a surgery.

60’s you’ll have a major surgery the music is still loud but it doesn’t matter because you can’t hear it any ways…

70’s you and the wife retire to Ft. Lauderdale, started eating dinner at two o’clock in the afternoon; you have lunch around 10; breakfast the night before, spend most of your time wondering around malls looking for the ultimate soft yogurt; muttering how come the kids don’t call….how come the kids don’t call…

The 80’s you’ll have a major stroke you end up babbling to some Jamaica nurse who your wife can’t stand, but who you call mama….any questions……”

Your few freedoms are preserved because they are profitable to your owners.

The great challenge of the democratic model is that increases in wealth and freedom threaten the farmers. The ruling classes initially profit from relative free market and capital and labor but as their livestock become more use to their freedoms and growing wealth they begin to question why they need rulers at all.

All well, nobody said human farming was easy…

Keeping the taxed life stock securely in the compounds of the ruling classes is a three phase process.

The first is to indoctrinate the young thru government quote education. As the wealthy democratic countries grew government schools were universal inflicted in order to control the thoughts and souls of the live stock.

The second phase is to turn citizens against each other through the creation of dependent live stock.

It is very difficult to rule human beings directly through force and where it can be achieve it remains crippling under productive; as can be seen in North Korea

Human beings do not breed well or produce efficiently in direct captivity.

Ah, but if human beings believe that they are free than they will produce much more for their farmers. The best way to maintain this illusion of freedom is to put some of the live stock on the payroll of the farmer.

Those cows that become dependent on the existing higher hierarchy will then attack any other cows who point out the violences hypocrisy and immortality of human ownership.

“Officers position Grant face first on the floor, with one officer near his head; a second near his back, and a third officer standing near by.
There appears to be a brief struggle, then a two year veteran, bared officer stands….draws his weapon and fires……………(sounds of gun shots)…………………..”

Freedom is slavery and slavery is freedom…

If you can get the cows to attack each other when ever anybody brings up the reality of their situation, then you don’t have to spend nearly as much controlling them directly.

Those cows who be came dependent upon the stolen largeness of the farmer will violently oppose any questioning of virtue of the human ownership and the intellectual and artist class always and forever dependent on the farmers will say to anyone who demand freedom from ownership…”You will harm your fellow cows.”

The livestock are thus kept enclosed by shifting the moral responsibility for the destructiveness of the violate system to those who demand real freedom.

The very third phase is to invent continuing external threats so that the frightened live stock cling to the protection of the farmers.

This system of human farming is now nearing its end.

The terrible tragedy of modern western economic systems has accrued not in spite of, but because of past economic freedoms.

The massive increases in western wealth through out the nineteenth century resulted from economical freedoms and it was this very increase in wealth that fed the size and power of the state.

Whenever the live stock because exceptionally more productivity you get a corresponding increase in the number of farmers and their dependence.

The growth of the state is always proportional to the proceeding economic freedoms. Economic freedoms create wealth and the wealth attracts more thieves and political parasites who’s greed then destroys the economic freedoms.

In other words, freedom metastasize the cancer of the state.

The government that starts off the smallest will always end up the largest.

This is why there can be no violable and sustainable alternative to truly free and peaceful society,
an society without political rulers, without human ownership, without the violence of taxation and stat-ism.

To be truly free it’s both very easy and very hard.

We avoid the horror of our enslavement because it is so painful to see it directly.

We dance around the endless violence of our dying system because we fear the attacks of our fellow live stock, but we can be only kept in the cages we refuse to see.

Wake up…………to see the farm……..is to leave it.

The only true freedom and liberty is that in your mind, if you

can think so.
Great video--thanks!

It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people that pay no price for being wrong.

Your "RELIGIOUS THEORY" is flawed...

Unless you don't believe in a Creator, God, then, why would you believe anything good about it, because you forget that the fundamental beliefs the Church is based on is "freedom of choice".

Let me quote you what POPE JOHN PAUL said about Socialism:

“….No Catholic could subscribe even to moderate Socialism. The reason is that Socialism is founded on a doctrine of human society which is bounded by time and takes no account of any objective other than that of material well-being…..it places too severe a restraint on human liberty.”

May 15, 1961
Mater of Magistra, n.34

Let me quote you what POPE BENEDICT recently said about Socialism:

“….The State which would provide everything, absorbing everything into itself, would ultimately become a mere bureaucracy incapable of guaranteeing the very thing which the suffering person—every person—needs: namely, loving personal concern. We do not need a State which regulates and controls everything..."

Deus Caritas Est, n. 28

The Catholic Church does not believe as your video implies...

Why should either of these guys have any more authority

p>Hard to get that the country that so many people are trying to enter would lie to it's population,
UNTIL we take a look at why.$$$$
Congress except a few like Ron Paul sure seem to be on the take, bought and paid for buy Corporate CASH.
They get TWO teams that play the get elected game!
Let see will blame the democrats now. A larger Percentage of wall street money is going to Republicans now!
The sheep "that's us" will follow the game like it matters.
Until we can get some true patriots don't or haven't worked to any company 12yr before or after office, take the money out of the equation!...
Until then the government isn't for the people it's for the money backers.

We also need to make sure the public media gets the same amount of time a main street. or at least 40% same channel.
if they don't like it let someone else run it.
guess what they will still make money and trust me they will take the deal still billions that we the public don't get any of.
for instance
NBC 14hr private and there same system must also have 10hr. public

The average person doesn't even get that calling someone a terrorist doesn't make them one "guilty"
The only reason this country got so big was we were all ways keeping the government in check.

Obama has been a huge disappointment, but look what we almost had JOHN M I tell my self it could have been worse.

Outstanding video....

I often use the "free-range economic slave" model to explain the NWO. Great video to email and share with others who may be ready for it.

Some take the red pill and lunge head first down the rabbit hole... others ... not so much.

I love this video!

wolfe's picture

Even my liberal/statist friends found this video compelling...

This is an excellent video to get people to at least entertain the idea that government is inherently evil and extortionist.

The Philosophy Of Liberty -

"My liberal/statist friends..."

If they are truly liberal and statist how can they be a friend of yours? Since they would require your slavery to support their means of survival. Is this the act of a friend?

I am not being provocative for argument sake...

I truly believe that to be free, to declare oneself sovereign it becomes necessary to divest yourself from those who would harm you. And should they see the error while in their isolation from free men (men, as in humanity) they will be welcome as friend.

wolfe's picture

If I limit myself to only those who agree with me...

How would I ever be able to convince those who don't? If I limited myself to only those who agreed with me 100%, I would have no friends.

You should re-evaluate your stance on this subject.

The Philosophy Of Liberty -

Michael Nystrom's picture

I agree

I have plenty of 'liberal' friends, and nearly everyone in the country is a statist. I have plenty of friends who disagree with Ron Paul as well.

They have have their views, I have mine. They learn from me, I learn from them. Aside from issues we disagree upon, there are plenty that we can share as well. We are all human, after all.

I think it is incredibly sad if people limit themselves only to people with whom they agree 100%. I think that is part of the problem with this country. "My way or the highway!" Rigid. Sad. Dead.

He's the man.
Joη's picture

when such a dispute arises

the response "but if I agreed with you, then we'd both be wrong!" will work a few times.

"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it." | Up for a game?

I think its sad when people immediatley resort to

the straw man argument.

Nystrom please point out in my comment were I said, "My way or the highway."

Frankly the reactionary response I received is what is sad. Not associating or supporting those who would steal your livelihood through excessive taxation, murder our youth in endless wars of aggression and then subjugate our families to the most technically advanced police state the world has ever known is hardly a radical idea.

And I would never call anyone who supported any of the above, "My Friend."

P.S. Did you even watch the video you posted, Nystrom?
